    I have lurked quite a while but have only really felt comfortable on os. I have posted and pm a couple of members on a thread about nokias and they were both really helpful and friendly but I think this is more my cup of tea!

    there is a lot of self-centered stuff in other boards... funny a bit but boring after a while. Give me practical helpful advice and a bit of light hearted humour any day.

    my computer got corrupted with a home page hijacker ( the sort that takes you to the sort of site you don't want your children stumbling across) so I've had to reinstall Windows as even Spybot and Adaware didn't cope with it. took two days to reinstall everything and i felt withdrawal symptoms when I couldn't catch up with all the posts.
    This board keeps me on the straight and narrow and it must be life changing for a lot of people who come across it at the start of their move towards financial dignity.
    It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

    What a lovely post to read first thing in the morning :) It is a lovely place to be and I'm really missing it amongst all this madness of moving. I'll be a lot happier when I can come back properly.

    I have old style book marked and it sits at the top of my Money Saving section. It's the first place I look when I sit down at my PC. I do mooch around the rest of the forum and the main site, but I like 'coming home'. I miss some of you Ol' Stylers if you've been away for a few days too :D

    I just dont feel comfortable with the cynicism, smut and innuendo that is to be found on the other 'chatty' threads. You people here seem much more friendly.
