    :confused: Is there such a thing as a "stupid question"? :confused:;)

    Might be elsewhere, but most definately not here :D

    I too love this board, and along with others have occasionally read and contributed to other boards. I too gasp in amazement at the rudeness of people on some other boards and can't for the life of me understand why some people feel the need to respond in such a way to what is most of the time, a simple question.

    i feel at home here, and have really enjoyed returning to a simpler way of living, albeit with a few modern gadgets.This forum and the posters on it are helping me through a major bout of post natal depression by giving me a purpose. I 'pop in' at regular intervals during the day to see how everyone is, and to pick up more tips.

    So to echo the original post;
    Thanks:T

    Can I just add my vote of thanks to everyone here for being so nice, too.
    I haven't looked at many other boards tbh, so haven't come across problems anywhere else. I think I just got here one day, realised that here were people as strange as me & knew I was home!!!

    I love it here, too. I check through the posts every weekday, at work (well, I have to get SOMETHING worthwhile out of those "lost" hours!).

    My only concern is missing replies to my posts. I have got the hang of keeping track of which threads I have posted in (thanks to helpful advice here), but having the time to re-visit each thread is tricky sometimes. I THINK I manage it, but if I ever appear not to respond appropriately to anyone who's thanked or quoted me, please don't think I'm rude...just over-whelmed!! But very happy here.

    I'm a newbie and although I've been reading this forum and others for a while now, I've only started posting. I have to agree with Math. People here are so nice and helpful. They don't critisize. They don't judge. They're always ready to share their tips. I've learned a lot here. And not just about how to use vinegar!!! So thanks everyone! :T

    If you click on UserCP on the salmon pink tool bar just under the MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Home, Work & Play > MoneySaving Old Style bit you'll see all of the threads you have posted on that have been replied to. It's really useful :)

    Thank you Galtizz - this is really good to have. It's tricky though to go back to all replied-to threads, as not all of the replies will relate to my post, and the conversation moves on...I hate the thought that sometimes someone may refer to my post further on in the conversation without me noticing! I wouldn't intentionally ignore anyone though!

  • Please can I say thank you to everyone who has helped me in the past. I normally click the thanks button but I'm not well enough to try and find my posts and click the button. So I will just say a big THANK YOU here to all of those people who have helped me of late it's been really appreciated. :beer:
