Maybe, but it's not as if the first post was even asking for opinions or advice, it just opened a big can of worms for no clear reason, and straightaway we had the inevitable 'think of the poor ickle baby' posts.
OP, if I'm wrong, I apologise. It's always fine to have an abortion and the only reason you need is that you're pregnant and don't want to be. Ignore everybody else, including your partner, it's your body and your decision alone.
If I'm not wrong, do some funny trolling next time, I much prefer a comedy troll thread!0 -

Oh alright, I'll bite
Spending enough time on an internet forum to be able to clock up 20 000 posts doesn't make one immune from being a troll. In fact you could argue the opposite.
Looking at your posts on this thread It's not difficult to see why you have written the things you have written
I suspect you're not so much trolling, (as in writing stuff in order to get a reaction), but simply because your feelings on the subject are so strong that aggression is the natural way for you to express those thoughts.
...
Anyway, I don't know why they don't just close this thread, tbh. It's not serving much purpose other than to allow the bickering amongst one or two forum users to continue, and it's going much the same way as any other thread on the subject of abortion.0 -

As I said, it's a serious topic, it's not like ignoring the funny trolls.
Perhaps you should report the thread if you are so concerned. Its interesting you find it so serious yet thank the post making crass remarks about selling babies.0 -
Person_one wrote: »Ok, well I wasn't going to mention it, but maybe the Op can explain why she says she was offered a surgical abortion at 7 weeks. Did they tell her she'd have to wait and stay pregnant until 15 weeks when that procedure becomes available?
There's been a definite spate of 'new' IDs posting controversial/trolley stuff recently, does that not put you on alert a bit?Person_one wrote: »Not that long ago there was a poster who used to tell terrible stories about her 'forced' abortion. I too read that on the NHS website before I booked my appointment. I didn't think there was any other option to the abortion pill at such an early stage in the pregnancy. But it seems there is as they've offered me 2 surgical options. It was through the BPAS if you feel that strongly that I'm lying you can call them if you want to.
Believe me if I wanted to troll I would come up with something better than this topic. This is not a laughing matter to me but as I've said, I've been on the forums a long time so half expected this response from some.0 -

I must say though that this thread has helped me a great deal by hearing from some of the other posters experiences an what they would do in my position. It's also helped me to know I'm not alone as I don't really have anyone to talk to about this other than hubby. ( for obvious reasons I've not told anyone)
To the cynics, if you google 'BPAS considering abortion' there is the PDF leaflet they gave me. This says 'vacuum aspiration upto 12 weeks'0 -

Then I refer you to my post that you haven't quoted, between the two you did.0 -
