Have any of you disgusted people actually checked to see who's using this word 'troll' again and again? Take a look. Interesting, isn't it? Sometimes the most innocuous comments that would otherwise disappear into their cyber grave within a few posts assume an importance they never had simply because people like to get their panties in an absolute tangle.

It's satisfying to be so 'disgusted' isn't it. You can take the right moral high ground then, can't you?

I'm sorry but you have come across as being very cruel in this thread, why keep posting when in your first and second post you accuse the op of being a liar? I've not had the impression that they are speaking 'bollox' as you state and there is every chance this is a women who genuinely needs a sympathetic ear, not pathetic jokes and being made out to be a liar.

It's precisely because it's such an important subject that it really bugs me when people use it just to get reactions.

Why shouldn't the details be questioned if they seem 'off'? Scare stories, myths and untruths about abortion are far more dangerous than a bit of questioning.

So you think its made up as well?

It is an important subject and very sensitive which is why making jokes in my opinion is crass, clearly not to you.

The OP has been questioned and I think the answers given have been entirely plausible.

But nothing is off, OP has shown knowledge of great detail, hasn't said anything to cause arguements or start them - all they've done is ask for advice - nothing more.

Any thing that seemed 'off' has been explained yet you people continue to say this thread is made up.

  • OP...What turmoil to have decided definitively you won't be having any more children to find out you are pregnant. It sounds like you have made up your mind but the fact of the pregnancy makes it very difficult to go ahead as confidently as you may have wanted to...But it sounds like you wouldn't have the baby as enthusiastically as you would want to...And you can't really project forward months from now to really know how you would feel and how the family would cope. All you can do is make a decision based on where you are now...that's all any of us can ever do. Wishing you well, good health, both physically and mentally, as you move into your choices...

OP - I can see where you are coming from and in your position would probably opt for the abortion route too. You must do what feels right for you and your family no matter what other people say. I have known two women who have aborted for financial reasons first and foremost and neither of the regretted it. Both were roughly ten and twenty years ago.

    I wish you well.

Ok, well I wasn't going to mention it, but maybe the Op can explain why she says she was offered a surgical abortion at 7 weeks. Did they tell her she'd have to wait and stay pregnant until 15 weeks when that procedure becomes available?

There's been a definite spate of 'new' IDs posting controversial/trolley stuff recently, does that not put you on alert a bit?

I think your being over paranoid. With these situations I think all options would be discussed, plus they may not of known how far along she was when they were put to her orignally as options.

  • Take people at face value or ignore them...I don't understand what's to be gained by claiming 'troll' or what's to be lost by being civil...take care OP
