I phoned up my boyfriend's ex-gf. She's a therapist and she told me a few things.

Do you even know what a psychopath is? I'm not a psychopath.

Indeed I do know what a psychopath is, there's a few definitions according to where you live and what you prescribe to, although you do exhibit all 3 of the basic signs which tie in the majority of definitions: Low fear level (by doing what you did initially with calling the ex, without thought for repercussions...well that kind of proves that one); Disinhibition - well, I think you fit the mould for pretty much every sub type; and Meanness - deception by doing what you did initially, thats just cruel, aka mean.

I think that pretty much covers it.

What? Did you even think about the at hand context? I kept quiet for a year, and then I phoned up his ex because I felt !!!!ed off that I took care of him in hospital but every time I phoned his mum she would phone up the ex and relay information to her. It made me feel like the bit on the side and that the ex was his wife or something. Not sure how you concluded from that that I display the symptoms of psychopathy.

You may not be displaying the symptoms of psychopathy (I'm not bothered enough to check them out) - but you are showing signs of being an absolute doormat! And if you want to continue to be a doormat - then that's fine by me - just stop complaining about being trodden on all the time x

It is true. Every time I range 111 no one could find him on the system because.............. he has no NHS patient number! He is too cheap to pay for travel insurance or even healthcare insurance in the USA. He has broken bones in his feet before and not sought medical attention in case the cost is too high. Essentially he took a risk and we all are paying for it.

Can this be true? I've rang 111 twice and NEVER been asked for an NHS patient number.

    Happy moneysaving all.

They couldn't find him on the system. No record of him whatsoever.... They don't ask directly for the NHS patient number, they are just confused when they can't locate a person, as most are registered with GPs. That's the point I'm making.

It amazes me a bit that there are some other threads on here where someone was with a clearly abusive partner and the words psychopath havent been flung in their direction.

I do think that because it was decided that the OP was a troll early on that a lot of the replies have been harsher than theyve been on other threads. I can think of two other threads on the boards where the woman has been involved with a controlling partner and theyve had support and lots of it and very little criticism. I think it takes balls posting a thread on here at times.

Toxic relationships dont just happen to weak people, as I said earlier in the thread, the fault is with the abuser.
