Morning all!
I've just got my first pay through from 63336 :j - £102 for February! Gonna instantly put 20% of it away for Sir Taxman, the rest is to be distributed between the card and OD. (Oooh its so nice to be down to just one card and be able to say that!)
It leaves me with £80 to play with, but not quite decided where it's going to go yet. My targets for the month are at least £160 to the CC and get the OD down to £1,000 - so that's £258. £418 all together I've got to find - I'm not sure I'm going to be about to do it you know. I can at a push manage £300 out of payday, plus the £80 63336, still leaves a deficit of nearly £40. I need to get ebaying!! :S
Hmm, I think I may pay £58 off the OD, just to get it to a nice round £1,200, then the last £22 to CC.
Up to £52 for this month on 63336. Slacking a bit since I was nearly at £100 this time last week! But I'm still on target. I've got a full week off work after today so that'll give me plenty of extra time to get the number up! I need to get to £80 before the end of tomorrow- should be easy enough- may even push myself to get it up to £100.0 -
Morning Kim,
You are doing so well, I am sure you can meet your debt target this month. Maybe during your week off use some time to list some things on #bay. Its amazing how it adds up.
Must feel so nice to just have the 1 credit card and the OD left to pay off. Both are not sky high amounts either so definitely workable.
Keep going hun. You WILL get there. xx0 -
Happy weekend everyone! :j
Just paid £56 off the overdraft, and £23 off the credit card. Signature has been updated - I'm now under £5,000! Feels nice to break through a big milestone like that
Treat myself to a haircut today! Budget not affected either - I'm looking after my parents dog this week so my mum left me £25 - that paid for my hair to be done and I've got £6 left over.
STILL not heard from the opticians about my glasses - I think they've forgotten to phone me. I'll just have to nip in at some point over the weekend and see if they're there.
Not much else to report really - trying to do some 63336 at the mo, but it's very quiet so questions are few and far between. Managed about £8 in nearly 2 hours- grrr! I'm at £68 at the mo, ideally wanted to get to £80 today so I don't have to worry about being behind when I don't do any tomorrow. I'll do what I can but won't worry too much since I'm off work all week next week so should get plenty of chance to get extra done.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend! x0 -
Yay this is brilliant news, well done on getting under 5k! :T

Evening all!
Sorry I've been absent for a few days. Just been enjoying time off work and spending time with OH. We haven't been up to anything much, just lots of chilling out, eating too much food and generally being lazy!
All's good on the budget front. I got quite a bit of money and vouchers for my birthday so I've allowed myself to be a bit frivolous with that away from the budget. Plenty of money left in the budget this month as a result, so hopefully come payday I'll have some left to make overpayments with.
Sold a DVD on ebay yesterday for £10. Not got round to listing anything else yet though. I'm on target with 63336 though - done £10 every day as planned, and done an extra £10 tonight, so I'm up to £130 now. My target was £300, but now I'm thinking I should aim for £380 so I'll have £300 after tax. We'll see how I get on.
Hope everyone is having a good week so far! xx0 -
Sounds like you've been having a fab time and I hope you treated yourself from the vouchers and money that you got for your birthday.
Well done for the 63336 earnings - I'm sure you can get to 380.00 for the monthMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.9.25 - £106,033.77

It's that lull time of the month now... a week before payday, no extra payments to make, and desperate to pay something off!!
On the plus side my budget is looking healthy, so I should have a bit left over to make some overpayments before the new monthly budget goes in.
I've listed a few things on ebay this afternoon, fingers crossed they sell soon. I tend to always list things Buy It Now these days - mainly because I get impatient waiting for auctions to finish - but then there's the risk my items will sit there for 30 days and not sell. I've been quite lucky though with 90% of things I'm listing selling within a couple days. And at least this way I know exactly what price I will get for them.
I'm not sure if I will meet my targets set for this month though. I need £200 paid to the OD and £138 to Barclaycard. I've just mapped out a rough budget for March's payday and allocated £280 to debt payments. I'm short of over £50. I could be a bit more frugal next month I suppose; I've allocated £50 into my xmas/gift fund and I don't really want to have to cut that because I know I am going to need it. I will have a bit left over to pay from this month's budget, but how much depends how good I am in the next week! Fingers crossed some of my ebay stuff sells between now and next week so I can meet my target, but I may just have to cut my losses and be a little short. At least I know that in April I'll get a good payout for 63336 so I should be able to throw between 400 and 500 to the debt.
If I want to be debt free by the end of the year, I really need to up my game and from next month onwards be able to easily throw £500+ at the debt.0 -
Hey
Sounds like you're still doing well even though you can't make a payment today! Oh to be able to throw £500+ a month at debt!
I'm pretty sure you'll find the extra money though as you're very determined and that much determination warrants success!CC1: 10273.70/6892.56. CC2: 1000/832
