That is annoying and you have every right to complain but at least you've still got money to pay for this month. I would have thought if you've paid your min payment and it's after the date then it would go onto the next month. Maybe worth waiting a few extra days next month xCC1: 10273.70/6892.56. Indeed - I'm always just so eager to make payments on payday! But yes, I will have to make a mental note to stall for a few days next month0 -
This month I've managed to pay just short of £500 off. That's without doing much 63336, but with a bit of ebaying.
If I can manage to stretch to just over £500 a month for the next 8 months, I can and will be debt-free before Christmas.
I started out this diary saying I wasn't going to set myself any 'unrealistic targets' and my main aim was just generally to become better at budgeting.
I may just be setting myself up for failure but I know it's possible.
I'm going to be debt-free by Christmas.
There, I've said it.0 -
Go for it!! :j
The worst that will happen is you will get very very close. I think you can do it though

Thanks Emz. You're right. There's absolutely no reason why I can't do it. As you say, worst case scenario is I'm almost there but not quite, and that's certainly not the end of the world.
I think it helps that I'm already mentally spending the extra money I'm going to have, in my head. I decided last week that I will re-start driving lessons next year, as I'll be able to afford them again!0 -

:T yay! I don't think this is an unrealistic target at all - you already know that you can pay the 500.00 off each month.FinanciallyUnsavvy wrote: »I think it helps that I'm already mentally spending the extra money I'm going to have, in my head. This is a great incentive, with an extra 500.00 a month you would be able to afford to buy a car as wellMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.9.25 - £106,033.77

Morning!
If you can manage to be debt free by Christmas based on these last few months money and with minimal effort I'm 100% positive you'll do it! I love the spirit and will be here with you every step of the way - like a creepy stalker but in a positive way haha.
I agree with misstara, the extra £500 will be able to get you a car and a decent one too. Looking forward to a more mobile 2015 with heaps of freedomx

It's only 2 days after payday and it's already boring.
I'm feeling nervous about setting myself my Xmas target to be honest. I don't feel like I'll be able to do it. It's reliant on me doing £300 on 63336 each month and/or doing a fair bit of ebaying, and I'm already running out of decent stuff to sell.
I've not done any 63336 since Monday now. I didn't have chance Tuesday or yesterday night, but tonight I need to crack on. I really hope it's busier soon. There's been very few questions coming in for a week or so now and it makes it much more tedious when you have to wait 5-10 minutes inbetween for a question. I'm still on £210; any chance of £300 by the end of the month is probably out of the window. Still, 5 days left of the month so if I can get £10 a day that'll be closer to my target.
Oh, I forgot to mention I signed up for Textbroker just after Christmas. Since I never heard back from them re my application I assumed it was a no go, but last week I finally heard back and my application was accepted. It's writing short articles for around £4-£6 a pop. I've only done a couple so far, but it's good to have another legit means of making a bit of extra money.
I don't have much else to say, everything's boring...0 -
That's good news re: textbroker as I too applied just before Christmas and never heard anything back so maybe I'll hear something soon. You'll have to let us know how you get on with that.CC1: 10273.70/6892.56. CC2: 1000/832

Hopefully you hear something soon too then!
It seems okay - there doesn't seem to be many articles available at any one time though. Well, it varies. Sometimes I've logged in and there's been 2 or 3 available, sometimes about 20, but it looks like you can only have one pending at any on time. Most of the articles I've seen available so far are pretty boring subjects, but a lot of them seem fairly easy money. I'll let you know how it goesxx
