I got a letter off the CS I donate to this week telling me they've raised £13.12 so far from the products I've donated, every little helps I guess

Two weeks on Monday since we moved in. We are going to start the decorating this week and the carpet man is coming later in the week to tell us what its going to cost.
As we sort through the boxes, we are amassing stuff for ebay, There are 3 boxes in the loft already!
Got rid of three recycling bags full of cardboard boxes all torn up.
Slowly getting there. We have, as we are both decrepit old crocs, given ourselves until Christmas to get the house straight. Watch this space!!Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

I managed to sort out the bookcase in the kitchen today and made a lovely pile for the shredder! I've worked out that separating cupboards / drawers into sections it will take 9 days to declutter if I do it bit by bit. The next task will be the TV cupboard - two actual cupboards and six drawers in the whole unit.2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000

All the recipes are decluttered into the computer and I did two of the recipes today
I won't be keeping the mags in the future, just cutting out the vouchers, copying the recipes and chucking them out!
Also decluttered all of the dead trailing lobelias out of the hanging baskets and pots on the gates and replaced them with trailing petunias, they were 50p on "Everything is 50p" trolley in Homebase. They weren't that bad I've just thinnned them back a bit and there were only 2 out of 24 plants that weren't salvagable
I've got a huge box to declutter into the recycle bin tomorrow.0 -

Decluttered after watching hoarders! Always gives me the fear. Sometimes its quite overwhelming though. I always have a fear I'm going to regret what ive thrown. Put an expensive jacket in the recycle, Its only done 1 winter but its looking a bit done. Don't want to end up costing myself a lot more! I always feel guilty about throwing out gifts too. I live in a small flat so need to be ruthless, doesn't help it still feeling like things are avolanching when I open a cupboard.0

Hi, I'd like to join in. This year we've gotten rid of truckloads of stuff - downsizing to a much smaller house later this year when our current house is fit to bursting with 50 years of stuff. I put off joining here because I wished I had counted it like you are all doing! But today I decided I can start from here...0

Well, I cleaned under the sink today and I'm so glad I did as
1) there is a leak somewhere and
2) there were lots of mouse droppings
The leak OH will have to deal with. The mouse droppings are the worse of it so really need to get on top of that one
The upside is 2 down, 7 to go and then the kitchen / dining area will be clutter free :j2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000
