I never got round to sorting another cupboard yesterday as I just didn't have the energy after giving the banisters a good clean
Today though I am planning on sorting the microwave cupboard. Mainly tinned foods are kept in there so I will make an inventory of what we have but there are also rarely used dishes shoved to the back. It will be good to go through these and add some to the charity box - I just need the strength to part with them:rotfl:

sweetilemon -Hoarders is my guilty pleasure! But for some reason they only put the odd numbered episodes on the sky website :S? I did wonder if they were shown in 2 parts in America, so we get the even ones as part of the odd? maybe? who knows....
It's always hard to throw away nice things, I found a charity that gets money based on the weight of the items, it was just one of the bags shoved through the door... they don't re-sell, it gets recycled so they can have things people wouldn't buy, I sent all my bed linen from uni, ( I managed to dye the pillow cases from one set and the quilt cover from another blue so nothing matched hmmph!), and a winter coat that had gone all bobbly, but it felt justified because the coat was heavy the charity would get quite a bit for it. Sadly I've never found them again though
not that we get those bags where I live anyway, too rural it's not worth their time coming out here.
My task for today is to finish sorting all my lotions and potions, and move onto shoes! And tidy.... I go on holiday Sat and have yet to find my kindle

Eldest son arrived home from his college (specialist one for students with disabilities) - and bought a roomful of clothes, bedding and toiletries, to add to his room at home, which is full of clothes, bedding and toiletries ....
Anyway, we have gone through it all, and been brutal about condition of some of the stuff, and so some of it was decluttered. I'd also already got two bags ready to go to the CS in the car (I was ill and lost weight which I never regained, so have been getting rid of clothes that are too big), so yesterday we took the following :-
209. Bra
210. Top
211. Blouse
212. Jumper
213. Shorts
214. Shorts
215. Book
216. Trousers
217. Top
218. Book
219. Book
220. Big bag of clean, unsaleable items - to CS for their rag collection
221. PJs
222 - 227. Trousers (6 pairs!)
228. Jacket
Phew!!
Came home, and found another item, so have started yet another CS bag
Happy decluttering, everyone!Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

I managed to sort the microwave cupboard today so that's 3/9 done now. I disposed of an oven tray, some plastic cups and a glass dish (charity box). There was also a jar of curry sauce with mould forming on the top of the sauce so that was flushed down the sink and the jar recycled.
Thankfully there were no mice droppings in that cupboard so need to check how they got in under the sink ? Hopefully we can sort that issue though
The plan tomorrow is to get the three drawer unit sorted. One drawer contains cutlery, the second tea towels and the third junk. Everything is thrown into the third drawer - out of sight out of mind :eek:
Before long the kitchen will be done and then it's time to start another room. It's going to be one of those never ending loops where it will be time to do the kitchen all over again once I've got to the end:rotfl:

Frogletina Haha glad I'm not the only one!
No decluttering but Ebay = most confusing place in the world ever!
I sold some shoes... my listing...Sliver glitter ballet shoes size 6. Open toe
Main Colour: Silver
Glittery ballet shoes with bow detail and open toe. In size 6.
Only ever worn once for a driving lesson, which is my reason for selling I'd worn shoes which weren't suitable for driving and bought these in an emergency but they don't quite fit properly (a little big)
Very cute and glittery though
I think that fairly explains I was selling shoes which silver and glittery...
The feedback I got...Even though they weren't red I am happy with condition
But on what planet would someone buy something titled silver, with the main colour listed as silver, and with 2 photos of SILVER shoes, then leave feedback "even though they weren't red" lol!
They didn't mark me down for it (though how they could I don't know...) I left a reply "Glad your happy with condition. Confused as to why expected red, clearly silver." for just in case someone looks at a later date and thinks something dodgy about it...as I know they lose listing information after a certain amount of time!
But just LOL!
