ebay, charity shop or donate to a local allotment/work group or something? Maybe a college or local school could make use of them if they do anything gardening related?x

I haven't posted here for AGES, so much happening.
We lost our home beginning of June as landlord is selling so, after very many years we had two months to clear out. We are currently in emergency housing as our Forever home will be ready next week.
When we moved, we actually filled an 18ton lorry:eek::eek::eek: This, form two people in a two bed house!
We have spent the last two weeks sorting stuff and have been brutal. A lovely man with a van came and removed.......please sit down here.........SIXTY BLACK SACKs FULL:eek::eek:
We have also donated a whole room full of furniture to a centre for the homeless.
I am ashamed.where did it all come from?
Gorgeous hubby and I have decided we are now going to be minimalist people. Nothing comes in unless something goes out!
And, I had already shed almost two and a half thousand items the previous year.
When we have moved in, we are planning another smaller cull. Watch this space:rotfl:Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Right, with a bag of bits to charity shop, some books on Facebay, a bag of vests on Freecycle and lots of bits in the recycling bin I have made it up to 62, but nowhere near my aim of 100! Must try harder next weekend, lol.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

thank you.
I was seriously ashamed to see the whole van completely full. We have been in temporary housing since 10th June and have not actually unpacked anything. We had a very brtal cull from box to box and repacked everything - its actually been very therapeutic to see what we can manage without.
I have been washing clothes by hand at night so they are clean to rewear - even the bed clothes are washed when i get up and put back on the bed at night. Its been quite easy to manage without tons of stuff - which has just proved the point that we didnt need most of what we had.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Doing a job for money over the last few weeks, so de-cluttering has been on the back burner. However:
- 4 too-big trousers into recycling
- 2 red pens completely finished and disposed of
- the CS bag has been taken to the shop
- another 3 items sold on eBay
- 4 items binned as broken or useless
Plodding onI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
