Hi skint-chick. Could you take photos of the brochures & leaflets, put them on your computer and then de clutter them? That way they'll jog your memory even if can't read them. As for the mementoes maybe a little wall shelf so at least they're up out of the way?
Been gardening here all day. Tiring work but at least I've decluttered some calories

Morning
I have been in hiding as my newborn (quite rightly) tempted me off the decluttering path and I have been too busy to fight the clutter however I am back and making big changes!
So far I have cleared out my wardrobe as has my DH so we have 2 bin bags of rubbish and 3 for the charity shop. I have been keeping on top of the baby clothes and so far have given 3 bin bags to charity
Focussing on the bedroom at the moment as we are hoping to decorate however we can't see for the clutter :rotfl:Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
1. Thrown away some really carpy old pots and pans that I never use. I want to buy new quality ones when I get around to it.
2. Bag of stuff collected to go to CS.
3. Used up the end of a foundation bottle.
4. Threw away some plastic boxes where the lids didn't fit properly:mad: they went into the recycling bin.
5. Using up all the fridge veg to make a noodle stir fry for lunch before new groceries arrive today.

Hiya all,
we had a big clear out last week and i took it all to the carboot on Sunday. Out of a transit van full i came back with a bag of clothes and one box i was very pleased. the bag of clothes got taken to the tip for charity - The Air Ambulancemy hubby does some Car Rallying with his motor club and they would be the ones that would take him to hospital if any thing happened so i am happy to help them out!

I also managed to persuade my son to sort through the big pile of cables and wires he had, so am feeling very pleased about that!

Feels really, really good shedding all this stuff. I plan to reorganise some more paperwork this week, and I might have a look round the shed to see if anything can go!Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

Could you take a look at this thread please - mods bound to shift it to its rightful home sooner rather than later, but when you gotta declutter, you gotta seize the day! I want it fast, and I want it cheap.
