            1. I went through the cup that holds the pens and threw away the ones out of ink.:D
2, Used up a free sample of hair serum after my shower and then used up the end of a foot cream. I've had that foot cream for donkey's years!:rotfl:
 3. Threw away some dog toys as I bought a couple of (hopefully) long lasting new ones.
I'm going to go through the three boxes of paperwork upstairs today. I'm sure I am keeping things I don't need like old vet bill statements so stuff like that will all go in the recycling bin.
I'm thinking about donating a few chairs to CS or maybe selling them. I like the way the house looks less cluttered and that there is more floor space. It makes it feel bigger.:AHOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

How lovely something good - that is what I am aiming for as I'm sure I would feel better in a lovely uncluttered serene space - here's hoping anyway. Looking around at the piles of paperwork there's a long way to go.I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0

I bet that feels so liberating

Had a massive clear out last night as I've decided to remove shelves from both sides of the chimney breast in my living room as I already have a little Ikea Billy bookcase with glass doors that stores OH's Xbox games/DVDs and electrical cables etc all in Ikea boxes.
 - 9 books ready for the charity shop
 - 7 books sold to Amazon boxed up and ready to go
 - beads and jewellery making equipment I don't want bagged up to donate to the local community centre
 - 3 keys from old house (almost 8yrs ago!) to the bin
 - 2 A4 folders of uni notes to recycle in work (I graduated last century!)
 Make up clear out
 - unused Armani for her shower gel and moisturiser to ebay
 - unused Nails inc nail varnish to ebay
 - 4 eyeshadows to my trainee make up artist friend
 - liquid eyeliner and 2 old lip glosses that were off to the bin
 - 3 old nail polishes to the bin
Today I'm working on my craft room and spare room so there'll be lots of old boxes and craft materials to donate/recycle"I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." Paul Theroux0

I've been in my study/craft room all afternoon clearing out as I'm getting building work done in a couple of months and need to clear the whole room. So here's what's gone -
 - 11 empty boxes - I was going to decorate them for storing craft supplies but it's been a few years and I haven't got round to it
 - Sony Ericsson phone charger - haven't owned the phone for 5/6yrs
 - 4 file pads -to community centre bag
 - 5 sets of file dividers - to community centre bag (I still have 2 sets left!)
 - assortment of pens that don't work
 - 3 rusting wire baskets - bin
 - 1 set broken Christmas lights - bin
 - paperwork from old job I left 3 months ago - recycling in work
 - 3 bin liners of old magazines kept for crafting - recycling
There is still so much stuff I feel like I've hardly made any progress I have so many leaflets and brochures and mementoes from trips/visits that I don't know what to do with, I didn't want to just shove them in a box and forget about them for years. About half of the house - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room - is really minimal and clutter free and the rest is a disaster area - study, cupboards, spare room. By the end of the summer I need it all sorted out! "I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."
