21. MASSIVE box of old Avon books ready for the fire

Could you do like a shadow box/memory box?
I've seen a few for tickets and toys and all sorts on pinterest
Was just about to suggest something like this - we bought a large poster frame from ikea which turned out to be too big for the picture (couldn't read my writing) so my intention is to fill it with old tickets, photos and maps... that's in lieu of covering the walls of a whole room with them as in We Need to Talk About Kevin...

I'm back on it again this week too, got anther couple of things on ebay which have sold and a huge bag for charity shop. I have lots of big things and I can't decide whether to try and sell them or cs them - not sure it would be worth the hassle of pacing and posting ....hmmmm!June GC Budget - 310/400
July GC Budget - 445/400

:T Well done to all for your achievements.
The pressure is on over here, we are moving in a month's time. So far we have decluttered:
* Shredded loads of paperwork for the recycling bin
* A selection of glasses will be going to a friend who need them
* An old fashioned TV is going a to a local charity shop who accepts electrical items
* 3 boxes of books have gone to MIL & FIL to share with their friends
* A broken picture has gone in the bin
Tomorrow I will be packing up stuff in the utility room. OH will be concentrating on the garage. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

Had a break from de-cluttering for a while... but now back on it.
Myself & DH have spent the last week decorating the dining room and our bedroom , so all the clutter out of these 2 rooms has been shoved into every nook and cranny in the spare room, well today it has all been shifted out as he is currently laying the carpet, so my task was to sift through it all, 2 large boxes of bits and piece's have gone up in the loft - mainly my DH's little nick naks he cannot bare to part with even though he has not touched the blooming things in the last year we have been in the house!
Out:
1 gaming chair - on the tip pile
2 x interior doors - Tip
2 bags of clothes - Charity shop
4 boxes of books - Charity shop
1 bag of ds's old clothes - given to a friend
1 box of bric a brac - Charity shop
1 carrier bag full of various craft magazine - Charity shop
1 old wooden desk - Tip
a massive TV that has not been used in years! - Freecycle.
That will do today, tomorrow I shall be tackling the wardrobes ready for them to be moved into the spare room.G.C July £21.09/£1000 -
Victory is mine!!
I finally got round to sorting out the 'junk' drawer, the one where all the vouchers, leaflets, tickets and other random but not everyday useful bits went, items out include one expired credit card, a year old lottery ticket, 3 pair of headphones (out of 6 'ears' only 2 worked, of course not on the same pair though!), and countless vouchers that expired in 20130 -
I am all over this today- I am designating it a de-clutter day since I have no other plans (except a nice long run, which is my answer to decluttering the mind).
Right, I am committing to 100 items out- but I am hoping to exceed that. Best get a wriggle on.....:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
