I just started putting two rare Blue Peter badges on eBay and was stopped by 3 people telling me I'm making a mistake. My argument is 'I don't need them!' and their argument is, 'but.. but... you can't get rid of them!'
They've won... for now. I was enjoying my decluttering spree but I suppose two BP badges aren't taking up much room.0 -

Hello. I had a near death experience last Monday night when another driver ran through a red light and totalled my car.
Oh my goodness, LisaJane, how are you, never mind about the car?
Still looking for some more stuff for Zapper here ....
And I also have a lot of packaging - I've never sold on Ebay but have sold on Amazon, and so have kept packaging. I am not selling so much now, so I need to sort through it, it fits in a medium sized cupboard at the moment, and I definitely don't need to 'save' any more!Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

The auctions were spaced out over several days and I was able to declutter my collection of used mailing bags, nearly new tissue paper and the left over xmas 'ribbon'I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
LisaJane -Hope your ok! You can be the most perfect driver and some other idiot on the roads will ruin things, boo! My dad was in a head on in my car last year because some stupid woman was using her phone and drove down his side of the road at him. My poor ickle car was a write off
. Cars can be replaced, people can't.
Hehe I just had a thought! Can you count your car as an out? :P lol. We could definitely do with decluttering our drive... bare in mind I've not actually replaced my car yet, search is still on for that I'm fussy!...We have 7 cars, 3 speed boats, currently 3 ride on mowers but ones just here to be fixed, a tractor, a mini digger, 3 trailers... and sure I've missed something...
SomethingGood - I agree you can't get rid of them!! plus they are small enough to hide at the bottom of a drawer or jewellery box and not notice, and pleasent to find...my nan had some of my aunts teeth in the bottom of her jewellery boxwas not a pleasant discovery! (She had them because my aunt was born with her front two teeth, weird or what!)
9- 2 more ebay sales out more nail varnish!
10 - the envelops and tissue paper for above
going to add tomorrows outs now too because I will be rushed off my feet! Well I'm supposed to be right now but enjoying a cup of tea before I get started.... We're having a village country fair tomorrow and then dad's friends over for a BBQ, I am going to be tired
11. 4 handpainted sets of teacups, saucers, and side plates (I'm calling them cake/biscuit plates for this) - um if I finish them so far 1 set completed
12. 3 large pieces of card
13. lots of plastic bags going to be reused.
14. carrot cakes which I uh haven't made yet... oops...
15. notice boards redecorated and redonated to the WI
16. cardboard cake stand X2 donated to WI
Sadly though I envision a couple ins... apparently there are going to be hundreds of stalls... pretty things... I love pretty things.... lol
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -
