just had a quick shufty round the glass cupboard. Liberated 15 glasses and 2 mugs for the charity shop, and binned a bit of the doorbell that hasn't worked for about 10 years.0
-
- Reorganised the under the sink kitchen cupboard and binned an old tube of extremely cheap toothpaste, it was like cleaning your teeth with little shards of gravel. I don't know why it was there anyway as I don't generally wash my teeth in the kitchen.:D
- A too big dress, two sets of old flip flops, an old oven glove and a few tops from hub's wardrobe going to recycling.
- Filled up a squirt bottle with the ends of a few bottles of hand cream and put by the front door so I remember to keep my hand soft during the colder weather.
- Not really decluttering but I need to put up a mirror by the front door, I meant to do that since I painted the porch last summer.:oHOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

Someone upthread mentioned address books. I've got 3 which I'm condensing into one but I'd also like to back that up on computer. I currently use a mix of the contacts on my iphone and Hotmail. Does anyone have any good suggestions about one place to keep them all online?
Other than that no decluttering today - but at least I'm thinking about it!0 -
More stuff gone:
- Threw away two pegs.
- Ripped tea towel, some old underwear and some curtains gone to recycling.
- Threw away an old mascara and some old, cloggy nail varnish.HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

Afternoon all
Well I managed to fill 4 carrier bags with shredded papers. There was a bag in our bedroom that we just shoved papers into so I sorted through that today. Added to the papers from the kitchen junk drawer there was a fair bit of shredding to be done. Sadly I know that's not all of it
I also threw away an old mascara and added 2 more books to the charity box.
Earlier today I made a list of clothing items everyone could do with. I'm going to get these and that's it, no more clothes buying until next year - no charity shop buying, no bargains, nothing. The only exception is Christmas pyjamas as the kids have new pyjamas thenThere are just too many clothes in everyone's drawers. Obviously I have to allow for growth spurts but I feel like we are becoming clothes hoarders

Love this thread. Yesterday I cleared out a kitchen cubourd that houses stuff that isn't food and some some plastic drawers that holds craft paper and pens etc. I want the drawers for somewhere else so I binned a lot of it lol. Kids rooms are being swapped round so I'm going to get rid of loads of stuff....wardrobes done already though.Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

Congrats to everyone on their de-cluttering.
My major de-clutter last week (and of the year), was selling my car.As I walk to work (all of 10mins), & only really used car to get food shopping. And I've got an Aldi/Tesco within walking distance (10/15 mins). Plus on a bus route into the town centre with regular buses going past.
Also sold 8" tablet, which I really hadn't been using that much.0
