Haven't really done any serious decluttering since last year. Its mounting up again.
Today I bought some paint to freshen up the lounge. That will get done next weekend.
This afternoon I emptied out numerous drawers and cupboards, sorted the contents and put things back in an organised way.
Three binbags later and a bag for the cs. Its so much better.
I intend to have a really good clean and sort to all rooms and then touch up the paintwork before Christmas, spending as little money as possible.

    - Sent to recycling - old pillow, clothes, cushion and some old puppy coats.

    - Binned old underwear, 2 make up brushes, empty toothpaste tube, and a broken Halloween decoration.

    - Found some cat toys and dog toys to be given to my friend.

Yesterday I did runs to three different CS. One that takes electrical, where the man upset me as I gave him two things and he said 'Is that it?' they are an expensive CS and don't do gift aid so I only give them electrical items.

Really not feeling well today so rung in sick to work. Been up with D&V :(:(:(
Hence why I'm just binning stuff rather than sorting properly.

    24. Ironing pile - ironed and put away by hubby :)

Hello! I am back on the decluttering band wagon and have decided to do at least one thing a night. My house really isn't that big and I started this a while ago and didn't finish it, so there really should be no excuse!!

Last night I did the wee square boxes in the top of my chest of drawers and tidied...nail poishes, make up, body creams, belts, tights and jewellery. Gosh, sounds like a lot when you type it! Good news is that I found £22.84 in change! So I feel like I have earnt some cash too lol!

Still to go in no particular order is...
    Bra drawer
    T-shirt drawer
    Knicker and socks drawer
    PJ and scarf drawer?! Random
    Re tidy trouser drawer
    Re tidy shoe drawer
    Re tidy wardrobe
    Two bed side drawers
    Spare room chest of drawers
    Spare room bed side drawers
    Drawers under spare bed

I have just realised that the list could go on and on, so I'm gonna stop there and just get on with it!

    - This week or next I'm getting rid of a sofa to make the second bedroom feel more roomy. The room is tiny and doesn't even have a bed but the cats live in there :o:D and it's harder to keep clean with a sofa in the way.

I want to paint the room later this year so I think I will be more motivated if I don't have to lug furniture around to do it.

    - I want to repurpose a shelf in the same bedroom and maybe put that in the garden as it can be inside or outside.

    - Threw away some old fruit and veg boxes I was using as storage and rearranged the drawers. No more buying any toiletries for my hair until I use all the bottles up!

    - I have collected up some spare plates, bowls etc... that I will donate to a charity shop.

Morning All!! My 5 done for the day:
    286. sweattop cs
    287. pants - bin
    288. pants - bin
    289. pants - bin
    290. pants - bin
On the topic of underwear - how many "sets" do you think is appropriate? I usually have 3 pair of pants for each bra, and looking at my underwear drawer - have quite a lot of bras. I've changed size recently though so have been donating my old bras to oxf*m and hence me getting rid of the redundant pants. Have started to replace in correct size but am at risk of getting carried away (again). Am really "trying" (hoping????) to get a lovely capsule wardrobe, but have a loooooooong way to go.
