Come on, no need to be silly.

No need for you to make things up either.

But they are not facts, it is one version of a story.

I may be a pedant, but I am correct.

You are correct. On all counts.

This version of events is all people have to go on.

    Much speculation is happening.

What a vivid imagination you have

In fairness, the imagination is 'balanced' as some are clearly taking the OP as gospel. Either that or they have several posting ids ;)

    If you say so.

You would rather believe the version given by the OP is the only version?

    - Male knocks on door.
    - Op opens door and points to a "No cold callers" sign.
    - Male becomes rude, waving hands around, threatening to report OP to ebay.
    - Male gets back in car and drives off

Yeah, OP did nothing at all to provoke/encourage that sort of reaction - If thats even what the male did.

In fairness it is hardly balanced as neither you, nor I, were there.

Nope, In the absence of the other side of the story, I will go on the balance of probabilities.

I can imagine the OP was also rude for the sellers husband turning up, which in turn more then likely agitated the male.

In absence of the other side and the fact OP has no reason to lie and has stated the comments made to him, why base your replies on what you believe could possibly be the case? Why not go on what you see in front of you instead of judging the OP and making things up?

    All possible.

    Not hard to believe.

    How about:

-Male forced by wife to take parcel he couldn't care less about
-Male has long drive to destination. Maybe gets cut up by some bad drivers on the way, has work on his mind, meetings to get to etc.
    -Gets to OP house
-OP opens door and says in surprise that they didn't expect him, they thought it was being posted
-Male, already annoyed, feels he has wasted his time and just gets angry
-Male walks off, gets in car and drives away

Because people lie to get the response they want sometimes.

OP wants to complain the male turned up with her item despite her telling the seller she didnt want it hand delivered. This is the original complaint.

I doubt the OP would tell us she was rude, aggressive and threatning as it would take away some empathy from her story.
