It's not always wise to confront people. Not everyone likes face to face situations either. Not saying she should have reported him, but sometimes a letter to a company is safer and has better results than other options (like confronting a guy on the street who is working and no doubt on a time limit).
I still think that you can't be certain how the situation with the sellers husband happened. So OP might be easily annoyed, they may not have wanted the guy at her door, she may prefer to keep people away with a sign, but that doesn't mean she was in anyway rude, nasty or bad tempered with the guy. You can tell from the tesco thread and you've said yourself, she didn't confront the driver. Why assume then that she'd confront this guy?
I said some people can act differently online or use it as an outlet to vent. I never said everyone did or even that the OP only used it as an outlet to vent - just that it was a possibility and that you cannot assume from their behaviour online that they are like that in real life. They were replying calmly on this thread but that doesn't mean they felt calm in real life, same as they showed anger in the tesco thread but may have been pretty calm in real life.
I am going by the side that the OP stated and gave them advice on that because that's all we have. I can see that there are reasons OP could have been angry in that situation, I see why the guy could have been angry, I see why she'd be angry at the tesco van and I see why the reply to that is how it is.
With the tesco thing I'd say there was no emergency so just move on. No use getting annoyed and complaining for a one off 5 minute stop that didn't affect them. I'm not defending her, not defending tesco, just replying to the facts.

your having a laugh arnt you:rotfl:
this isn't the place for the tesco debate;)0 -
Gawd, is this thread really still going?Exclamation and question marks - ONE exclamation mark or question mark is sufficient to exclaim or ask about something. More than one just makes you look/sound like a prat.
Should OF, would OF. Dear oh dear. You really should have, or should've listened at school when that nice English teacher was explaining how words get abbreviated.0 -

well you cant expect to slander my good character in the such, and not expect a reply, and a kind request for posters to please stop posting this thread so the predictions of one pulliptears can come to fruition.

I think this thread is now rather pointless, all that can be said has been said. So apologies, the last post is mine and I will close the thread.
