Although I do feel like I've read it far more times than that lol.
I see it all over mse, I like you have been on this thread from the start, so can remember most of it and just had a guess at 4 and I think I did 2 of them, not inc that last one.0 -

it has its uses, especially on this thread and it is reported to have stuck in your mind.;)0 -
I can't believe some of the responses to this thread. Some people are in a vunerable position, and don't want random strangers turning up at their doorstep. There is a massive difference between that and an employee of a major courier firm, with id, turning up.
Put it this way, if my grandmother had ordered something off ebay, told the seller not to deliver in person, they had done so anyway, and then given my grandmother abuse. I wouldn't report them to ebay, I would report them to the police.0 -

what if said random stranger was I employee of a major or minor courier firm and was doing part time work for his wife, and paying any due tax.
which police would you report to the parcel police
if grandmother ordered
if seller turned up
if abuse was given
sounds to me like your hoping it does.0 -

Well that possibly explains not wanting strangers.
As for the temper, it does say vent in the title but it's not like they're yelling or anything. They have a right to be annoyed about someone illegally parking across their driveway. Why would anyone be happy about being blocked in when they may have to go out at any time?
Two threads doesn't mean much either. Besides, it's rare you see positive happy threads on here, it is mostly people wanting advice or ranting/venting.0 -
