Seller appears on doorstep...

I have delivered items up to 100 miles away after jumping in my car as soon as payment is made . The buyer is usually overjoyed and offers me a cup of tea which I politely refuse.
This may seem a bit extreme but I have been so disappointed with all delivery systems.
That is very extreme, especially considering the cost of petrol and the problems that can come from delivering by hand. In what way have all delivery systems disappointed you?
Royal Mail may be more for certain items, but surely not more than the cost of delivering yourself and Royal Mail are generally very good.0 -
The seller is more at risk in this situation than the buyer in that delivering something by hand means it's not trackable, and the buyer could claim not to have received it.
Having said that this thread is getting silly now, so best leave it there!0 -
Im curious as I dont think its been asked.

You paid for delivery and it was delivered. I don't understand what you haven't got?0 -

Ah, hardly what I would call threatening!
I thought she was implying he was threatening as in "Im going to smash your face in etc etc"0 -

We do not know what was shouted.
Anyway if someone raises their voice this can be seen as threatening behaviour. As it obviously was by the OP0 -

I didn't pay for anything...
It wasn't delivered by the way stated. The seller had no expenses and so postage was paid by the buyer for a service they didn't get.powerful_Rogue wrote: »Ah, hardly what I would call threatening!

It is still a threat. Just because it's not scary like telling them they'll hit them doesn't mean they weren't threatening them. They were angry at the time they said it as well.0 -

According to the OP. Two sides to every story and I can imagine this side has been exaggerated some what.0
