Isn't it funny? When we have loads to do (and are physically able to do it) we just want to sit on the settee. But when somebody or something forces us to sit there we can't stand it!

    Lol, that is soooooo true!

Solwaykid - good luck with the cat flap!

Wel I've managed my huge list today so very pleased with myself. I did the whole 27 boogie fling and didn't feel too bad either. Also piled up DD, DS and DH things and said PUT THEM AWAY! Lol.

Been told I can't work until at least Thursday which is a bit worrying because i'm self employed so won't get paid. Hubby says not to worry as this is the first month we're not paying debts off but I guess it takes a while to change the mindset.

    Going to double the length of my list so now it's;

    1) 27 boogie fling thing
    2) Another 27 boogie fling thing!

    Adventurous hey! xx

:D Its fitted, it works, can't wait to see their little faces when they realise! I did have to nip out for junior hacksaw blades part way through with a gaping great hole in the back door - laughed at the futility when I locked up.

Here's my list for the rest of the day

Sort tool basket out while I have it out
    Ironing
Reclaim pantry (cat's been using the tiny window and huge shelf to get in and out)
    Banana bread to make
    Meal plan and shopping list
    and last episode of..
    Doctor Who!

LJD, well done on taking it easy and delegating. That's a lot of flinging, take it easy.
Pigpen, are they the same nails you had done for the wedding? They've lasted a good long time if so!

Solwaykid well done :) I am sure they will love that.

    Welcome vastsarah

Done not a lot so far, middle dog has poorly eyes an spent the morning trying to get in touch with vets. Had to go to Birtley aswell for DP which is good 30 mile round trip, did manage to get a few of the things I needed while I was there which saves going out again. I id put washing out before I went as it seemed nice, but yep you guessed it, it's now wetter than what it was when I got it out of the machine. Time to resort to using the TD!

Start in the kitchen next I think, need to do some reorganising!
One day I might be more organised...........

Well done with the cat flap Solwaykid. I've just got this vision of you locking up with a great piece of the door missing! Hope they learn to use it quite quickly. We've had a cat flap for years with no problems at all but our present cat believes that we exist to open doors for her. She just waits at the door she wants to go through and miows at us. We find this funny unless she does it in the middle of the night!

    Afternoon all

Solway well done - have the cats used it yet?

Decided after 3 days of no flying not to try to do all the lists. Did the bathroom with a facemask (free from Ulay) on - that kept the kids away - they thought it was creepy!

DS1 and 2 have been up at the tennis courts for 4 hours. Went up to check on them as that is where my lottie is. Dug up my first lot of new pots for tea, DS3 will not eat pots but says he will eat these? Got a couple of handful of broad beans - not something I usually have - what is best to do with them - we are having lamb chops (found in freezer which I brough when reduced).

Going to get OH to drop me to John Lewis - sale started today so want to take a quick peek. He is then going on to Tesco with DS3 for another coupon session of the SS tills.

    Did my TMFs today aswell.

Right must go before then close. Be back later while family watch Dr Who - I don't like that.

Oh got my first pay check in 13 years today for the tempory work I did last month.

Lucycat looked very please with herself and is already using it, don't know if Rescue/stray boy has previous with cat flaps or maybe he's holding out for treats either side. They aren't daft, are they! Bought some catnip (cat crack) as a reward, it's like orange squash to a toddler, sends them doolally.

Lil_me, hope you can get doglet's eyes seen to soon. Are they gunky?

Yeah Solway, his poor eyes are all gunky, started yesterday really but worse today, his eye lids are all red and it looks sore, my vet doesn't do 24 hour so had to call another, they've said to keep bathing it until Monday when my vet is open again. If it gets worse got to call them again. He's also had some piriton to try to get him to stop rubbing it which seems to be helping a lot. Staying in my scruffs now as when I bathe it he dried himself on me. Yuk!

Animals, sheesh they are worse than kids, I sometimes wonder what mad part of me agreed to having them, lots of worry!

Dusty enjoy spending the pay cheque :) and the sales of course ;)

Feeling v tired at the mo again, might have a lay down when I put the boys to bed later. My jaw is aching from yawning so much. I was planning on doing some baking but I really can't be bothered.

Just to update about the second day without Diet Coke.

I feel like death, I feel awful. My head hurts, my eyes hurt, my tummy is killing me and all power of coherent thought has jumped out of the window (and you would not believe how long it took to write that sentence for a touch typist!)

LDJ1 - it is a bind being forced to stay still. When I dislocated both my shoulders (don't ask) I got really into cross stitch. Not only could I use the poly slings as pincushions, but if you do counted cross stitch you get so caught up in the counting and the pattern you can't worry about your problems. I found it a real cure for depression.

Struggling to post - I hate diet coke. I may start a website 'I hate diet coke'. But I was exactly the same when I gave up smoking. Carried on smoking after nearly dying of an asthma attack, just stopped one day. Nothing would persuade me to pick up a cigarette now (I'd probably be sick anyway). Fingers crossed about the dreaded DC. Not tempted to have some. Just annoyed at myself.

Five more days, then I get the really nice teabags - through Quidco :D

    Have great rest of weekend.

    Always another chapter

Dusty I love fresh broad beans just with a knob of butter on them, delicious :D Well the rain didn't come down for long, just been spitting all afternoon so thankflly there should be no further problems with flooding locally.

The church fair was inside and we have come home with loads of [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] prizes that DD won on the tombola! None of us won anything on the water or wine stall  usually DD has the midas touch on that one.

Zilch, zip, nadda flying here for the last 3 days  due to work, swimming lessons and fair today.

Welcome to all the newbies, hi to the oldies (or should that be regulars ;) ) and anyone I have missed have a hug :)
