    Hello All, remember me?

Well we have now settled after our move, Mum has been over for a 3 week visit:eek: which was lovely but routines go out the window, plus I think it would be rude to spend as much time on here as I usually do:D .

I have been good and kept up with all the jobs, although not followed the lists, amazing how much is now second nature. Plus now we are in a bungalow it is so much easier to just hoover everyroom daily instead of just the lounge (I love it:j ). I do have a garage full of stuff however that needs sorting. I have just got new batteries for the bathroom scales so can now work out how much postage will be for a couple of the bigger items (inspired by pigpen to sell everything that isnt nailed down here).

Nice to see so many newbies on here too, you all sound like you are doing a brilliant job.

Sorry to hear so many people have poorlies at the moment (dont think this ever changing weather helps:mad: ).

So now I am back on board will start with the indepth cleaning on Monday. A

Good luck for the weekend boo81

Just two things left drying now. The rest is folded and put away and I've cut the back lawn (did the front yesterday or Wednesday, can't remember which). It's really mild out there. Cut back a few more bushes too, they are going wild with all this rain.

boo.. sod the manager you will prove you can do it.. ((hugs)) re the visit to OH's son.. it'll be fine.. all will go smoothly.. have a nice relaxing bath when you get in and get off to bed and you will be absolutely fine!.. Have a lovely time!!

shell2001.. nice to have you back.. bet it is nice to have your home back after your mums visit too.. I think I'd have thrown my mother out after 2 days lol

my shopping list is huge.. my lunch is digested and I am just having another cuppa then I am off to attack the bathroom. I've also got a list of number to ring about a nail appointment.. I just don't have the courage to phone.. I might pop in on the way up to school .. see I do have my quirks!! I HATE ringing new people in case I get the wrong number.. getting the wrong number doesn't bother me.. just the thought that I might.

I did sweep the kitchen floor while my lunch was cooking though :D

pigpen you must be flying if you already have a supply of water for emergencies!

Look at my signature - all shiny and new! Lol.
Why is this place so addictive? I've done nothing so far but read here and put away some dishes. Oh and eat tea and biscuits. I'm off for lunch now then I MUST get on and do some housework!

End of lunchbreak here - I've attacked the bathroom shelves, demoulded the walls  , put the bin in to "sanitize" in the kitchen sink with boiling bleach water as the bath now has the oven bits soaking in it :rotfl:

I've attacked the window frames in the bedrooms with a toothbrush and got rid of the gunk that had collected on the edge of the seal and cleaned the windows. Oh and I've made DD's bed and given my side of the bedroom a thorough wipe down and about to go and attack OHs side and then hoover the bedrooms & bathroom. Will also need to clean the bath out  Oh and I haven't done the dishes yet :o

    Okay I'm moving ....

I washed my hair... does that count as flying???

While I was over the bath scrubbing my head I decided the bath looked manky so I cleaned the bath, sink and loo. I do need to do a spot of 'decluttering' in there which I will do in a mo.. when I have brushed my nest!

  • Don't think I'll be doing much flying today - I've got an appointment with the mortgage advisor at 3.30pm  it's our first time buying so we're both a bit nervous. I just hope we can get one, because we want to move soon - our ******** noisy neighbour is making us so miserable

No kids yet, so no greasy finger marks to wipe off, lol. Just going to try to hoover the spare room and tidy it up a bit. Might have to buy some storage boxes for all my boots purchases - 5 mouthwashes arrived today, 15 due soon (£19 paid and £40 in boots points given though so really pleased)! Will have a MIN 27 fling boogie too - have at least that many magazines cluttering the lounge up too!

Enjoy your nail appointment Pigpen, sure they'll look fab!
