    Hello Diaryland,

Just a little update for today. Have paid in the money from the bits and pieces I sold, which came to £14. I rounded it up to £20 and have made an online payment to the Egg loan. There was apparently already a payment for £20 pending clearance so the balance is now:

    £650.82

I will transfer the additional childcare money that wasn't needed for this week and pay that off tomorrow. I will definately have this below the £600 mark by the end of the week!

Have done a food shop at Lidl but will need to make sure I have everything before I go and pay the change off the loan too. I need to get a couple of things from Asda but will write up my menu tonight and get the rest of the thing I need tomorrow.

Thats my update for today, only other thing I'm doing is driving the car in ECO mode, which is supposed to help fuel consumption - not sure how long that will last as it seems to loose its enthusiasm when its on ECO!!

    Happy Debt Busting!

So I seem to be managing to do PAD, as well as updating my diary daily as well, which is good for me!

I've gone and transferred the extra childcare money back from the joint account and paid that off the Egg Loan too, so we are now at:

    £620.82!

I meant to round that to cover the 82p but I will add that in to tomorrow payment, which will be from the change from the food shopping. I suspect that won't be much more than about £15 but will see. We are pretty much stocked up on food at home and I have my weekly budget of £20 for popping to the shops so I should manage to be quite frugal this month.

Anyway, will update again tomorrow once I have made another payment.

I literally can't wait to be debt free!!

Woo hoo - ebay account now fully verified and I can now sell up to 100 items per month or £3,500 worth of items (I wish!!) so I'm of to get listing!!

Got a load of stuff to pop on at 99p and if it sells great, if it doesn't, car boot or charity shop with it!

    Happy Days!

Another short update. The change from the shopping wasn't much as I had to get DD's Brownie uniform too, so the change was £5 rounded up to £5.82 to round the balance of the loan down to:

    £615

I do like a nice round number!! Tomorrow I will transfer the extra off the car account which isn't a huge amount but it will take it down under the £600 mark, I think I can take about £25 off of there.

2 items on ebay have a bid, so thats a few £££ too. I have one thing on with a buy it now and I have an offer of £2 less than I would like so I might just take it, I will see how I feel later!

No major plans for this weekend, lots of little tidy up jobs, and I'm going to challenge myself to see if I can actually have 100 live listings in ebay in June, so will make a start to my mega listings.... its these little games I play that pass the time and help reduce the debt I guess!

    Happy Weeekend everyone!

Quick update as my buy it now on ebay has gone for £11. Have transferred it from paypal and paid it off the loan. So the balance is now sitting at:

    £605

I will have a look at accounts tomorrow and make a payment to take it under the £600 mark for 1st June, and update my overall total in my signature.

Have paid £106.82 off the loan since 24th May, so I am glad I'm managing to PAD, it seems to make a big difference. Thats money I would have spent on unnecessary purchases, so we're heading in the right direction.

Will update tomorrow.... hopefully keep up the good work into June. Haven't done any ebay listings as I've been out enjoying the sun today, but will get on it tomorrow!

    Happy Weekend Everyone!

So its the 1st of June, start of a new month and hopefully the month where the egg loan is blitzed. I have updated my signature, so its looking okay....

I've Transferred the extra sitting in the car account, which was £26, but have only paid £16 off the egg loan, as I need fuel. Will put in £10 tomorrow. The balance is now:

    £588

Sooooo hoping that I can reduce it by £100ish a week and then pay off whatever is left at payday!! I'm feeling motivated, just hope the PAD-ing can keep me motivated.

I have had another item sell on ebay, so that will take care of tomorrows payment-a-day I should think. Postage I'm going to take off my weekly allowance so the full amount including postage comes off the loan, the item went for £4.20 and £2.80 postage so will be be another £7 off the total. Am convinced that I would just be frittering this money away so its best to PAD with it.

Anyway, off to see what else I can find to sell to see if I can meet my 100 live listings in June target.... its all about the targets this month!!

Quick post to say I've paid another £6 off the total, not a lot but it all helps at the end of the day. The total is now:

    £582

Need to see where else I can save or make money this month to meet the target. Have a day out with my mum on Saturday which I forgot about but that is partly paid for, just need money for lunch which I think she will pay for.

Hope everyone has a good day,

Todays mini-PAD is for a small but helpful £7, making the total outstanding now:

    £575

Its heading in the right direction! I thought I might have to miss today as a payment day as I thought the ebay buyer was messing me around, but they've come good in the end!

Off to check out our joint account as by my rough calculations, it will have more than enough to make all the payments this month. If thats the case, then I will withdraw some and pay it off this account.

I WILL be rid of this Egg Loan by the end of June!!

Thanks Lucielle - I'm hoping so! I've just made a payment of £5 bringing the total down to:

    £570

Its not as much as I had hoped but I need to keep some money to get a couple of small fathers day things, I have £20 left so will head to town tomorrow or Sunday and get a couple of frames from hobby craft. The kids are making gifts for hubby and the two grandads so hopefully a nice cheap fathers day. I don't want to leave myself short, so if I have any change from the weekend I'll pop it in the bank on Monday.

Having a bit of a wobble that it won't all be paid off by 30th June, but going to try my best. I've had a busy week and haven't had much time for ebaying. Will try and get on that later.

I also have an item that sold for £12.18 so once the payment for that comes I will pay that off too.

    I WILL get there!
