    Hi Lucielle, Hi Chrysalis1976

Just popping on to say thanks for your posts, always great to welcome people to my diary! I'm sure I'll manage to juggle around to get the £12, I've just not had a chance yet this weekend!

I see ebay are having a 100 free listings weekend, so I NEED to try and get onto that this weekend. I got all my washing etc caught up with today so hopefully that will leave tomorrow free for ebaying.

    Hopefully chat soon!

Woohoo- I hope you find that £12 to clear the loan. What a lovely feeling that will be.

I should send DD1 up to see you....she is a money magnet! Anywhere we go she finds money on the floor. She has found 2 £1 coins in the last week! I reckon if I put her to work roaming the streets all day she could earn me £15 a day :rotfl:

You have reminded me about free listings. I have a few bits to shove on so I'll get that sorted!

I hope you are having a lovely MSE weekend! x

    Evening Debtbusters!

New-me, thank you! I'm throwing everything I can at it right now, feels good to see the balance drop, even by the odd £4/£5 sometimes, but it really does mount up! Can't wait til my debt balance is at a similar level to yours, not long now for you!!

OF - send your daughter my way anytime, money magnets are very welcome here! Did you get any free listings done? I had grand plans of getting use of the full 100 free listings but today have only managed to get 31 items listed!! Still, if they sell its all good.

So I have done my juggling around and I have made the final payment to the egg loan making the balance: (drumroll!)

    £0

    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Over the moon with this! I was going to wait and make the payment over the phone, but I'm impatient and I did it online just now!! Once the card payment clears on the internet banking, I'll call them just to confirm, and see if they will send me written confirmation that the account is now closed.

Now to tackle the Northern Rock loan which is sitting at

    £739

    BRING IT ON!

So I have been a busy MSE bunny tonight, and have been updating my spreadsheets, and trawling Quidco for offers etc! I've got £13 tracking for my moneydashboard, and also £30 for William Hill Bingo which I've been meaning to do. I deposited and played the £10 required so will get another £40 to play, which probably means I won't get to withdraw the winnings if there are any. I won £24 on a game so I have withdrawn that, and will pay that off NR when it clears. So tonights earnings are looking like (if all track right and pay out!)

    £24 from Bingo Win
£20 Cashback from Bingo (£30 but paid £10 of my money)
    £13 Cashback from Money Dashboard

So £57 - not bad for a night on the laptop!!

Fingers crossed it all tracks and pays, but its giving dates as I have a premium account so I think it will.

Off to check my ebay items to see if I have any bids yet. Hopefully find a few more items to list tomorrow, as the free listings are on until 12midnight tomorrow.

    Evening Diary!

Just a quick update as the £24 from the bingo game is in the bank, so has swiftly been paid off the NR Loan, which is being taken care of by Marlin. Made the payment online nice and easily so the balance is now:

    £715

Hopefully not too long to get this one under £700, and ultimately gone!! Have just realised my mobile phone is due for upgrade this week, so I will look into that and see what I can get. My plan is just to sell it, so hopefully that will be a couple of hundred that can go towards this account.

One of my ebay items has a bid, so thats another pound towards the debts.

Off to catch up on diaries, speak to some of you soon!

  • Hi MrsS,

I'm back!!! I have just caught up with your new diary (you are naughty leaving me hanging at the end of December without a link, but found you again!) and so so pleased and proud (and a little bit jealous!) of your amazing progress - well done! You're a superstar and should be very very proud of yourself.

Woo Hoo - you're back Scottishspendaholic!! Welcome back, lovely to see you on here again!! Oops I never even thought about leaving a link in the old diary, ha ha! Glad you have found my new one though. I'm just so over being in debt, it has to go, so throwing everything I can at it.

How are things with you? All okay I hope! I shall pop over to your diary and see!

    Chat soon,

Urgh! Phoned Apex to confirm that I had made the last payment of £12, as it has cleared off my debit card, and they said there was still a balance of £7, so my sums were wrong along the lines somewhere.

Have now made the £7 payment so that is it definately done and dusted now! The guy on the phone said he would send a letter out to confirm the account was now closed - woo hoo!! :j

Am off to do the food shop soon, so once I have done that I will see how much is left - hopefully more than £15 so I can get the NR loan down to six hundred and something instead of seven hundred and something... I'm so sad, but I love it when it changes down!

Hope you're all having a good day,
