Welcome to all the newbies  This really is a great challenge to get stuck into.
I'm a bit late but am declaring £13.50 for last week using up supermarket vouchers.
I can't do a payment this week as the CC won't allow anything below the minimum payment when it generates a statement so it'll get added onto next week. With luck, that will be my last payment and then things will be going to savings.

Hi - may I join this challenge?

I'm using the YNAB budgeting tool and have set it up to look at the budget on a weekly basis. This challenge will allow me to use any underspend to make a payment every week.

PS - made my first payment - £2.56 towards the overdraft. Not the biggest amount but, as you say, the small things add up.
    44 day challenge

    1. Pay £650 off overdraft (£ 288/ £650)
    2. Lose 12 lbs (4.5/ 12)
    3. Use YNAB everyday (6/44)
  • Welcome Ninno and well done on your first payment! I don't know how many more ways we can say it apart from the immortal words of Tesc0 - every little helps! I've cleared in the region of £1800 worth of debt in the last 3 years by doing extra little payments every week Xx

  • I really want to make my over payment that I have worked out of £65.00 to keep me on track but it would leave me with £40 until pay day next week and as my actual pay day is a bit sketchy I worry I won't have enough... gurr! what to do!!

£19.13 this week. Feels good to be back on the overpayment wagon again!

I'm now adding to my list the train fare every time my bf gives me a lift to or from work. At the stage where he refuses petrol money so my credit card might as well benefit whilst it lasts!

Maybe see what you have left of the 65 + 40 and pay that after payday? Keeps me motivated to not spend or worry. X
