I didn't spend anything so just paid it all off as extra! thanks for the advice :)

Hey that's fantastic - congratulations! I bet that felt pretty good :)

Jaxsmar, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I know we've not met but you're in my thoughts.

I have just done some sum and I underspent by quite a bit in July - I think it's because I didn't account for money I brought back from Glastonbury (How is beyond me...) End of the month bank skim has built this week up to £103.33. Crikey.

    Take care guys, great work.

  • Hi,
I am hoping to hop onto this challenge by making an extra payment each week onto my credit card.

    Welcome tisonlyme!

£5.45 this week. Really racking up this year.
  • Welcome Tisonlyme!

For the second Friday in a row (but only the second this year) I'm not confident enough to make an overpayment. I have £40 to last until Tuesday which, considering it's school holidays, may or may not be doable. Anything I have left out of that on Tuesday can be my overpayment for this week.

    Keep plodding everyone Xx

£10.00 for me today off to Rome tomorrow not really feeling it at the moment but I know it's what my dad wanted, then back up to London for the funeral. After the school holidays I need to look back into my finances. It's a uphill struggle at the moment. On the news this morning was an article about people struggling with the everyday living expenses and how many people are in debt. However I intend to plod away my friend has set up a debt recovery payment (which wasn't a free one) and it will take her 22 years to clear her debt at the current rate she is paying... she laughed and said what will be will be.
