Thanks ladies
loving it so far. On the sofa watching reruns of Downton
You can tell when G really does need a nappy change as he'll shake his head regardless but if he's pooped he giggles as he doesNewborn thread member

Great news Katie. Glad you got moved and it's lucky little one ran off hey! How scary! I've been for coffee today with my pregnant friend due in 3 weeks. It's so weird but I felt kind of envious at the pregnancy even though I've had my moment and I'm so in love with my little boy. That can only mean I want to do it again! Which is good considering little man is back in his sleep regression!!0

Pregnancy envy, weirdest thing!! I have 3 kids now and don't want anymore, DD is just coming up 5 months but I still feel, not envious as such, but some sort of longing to be having a baby. Even though I don't actually want another and I hate being pregnant!
I think maybe it's the excitement that pregnancy brings e.g. The positive test, waiting to meet your baby, wondering who they will look like, you always end up forgetting the negative side of things.0 -
I'm going to buck the trend, I've got a mothercare cheapy stroller, it was about £30 and was used 5 days a week for 2 years by MIL and is now ours...don't get me wrong it's nothing special...but he sits and sleeps in it, and with the exception of a sponge wash and some WD40 on one wheel, it's good as new.
Also as it was so cheap (ie free!) I don't care about it getting bashed, dropped, dirty, puked on etc etc etc.0 -
Congratulations Katie!
Bangton I would like a sibling for my LO but with a 2/3 year gap, not right now! I caught a few seconds of one born and thought I am sooo glad to not be pregnant! I was so tired and uncomfortable!
Me and LO are staying at my parent's while work is being done on the house and it's great! No cooking or housework and being told to go and nap!0 -
Having a hard time with DD at the minute!! She just wont stay in one place for more than 5 mins without crying. I'm permanently alternating her between my hip, the bouncer, the play mat, the Jumperoo and the Bumbo but she's having none of it. Really struggling ti get anything meaningful done!!0

benice how is little one? Are your nights any better? Mine are bloody worse! ! Good to hear your getting a break. amus I'm having days where my son is the same. He seems to be bored of all his usual things. I guess he's growing and now he wants to be propped up while we play peekaboo and dangle muslin cloths in face. His faithful play mat is slowly getting redundant! This however often results in tears when mum has to do something else! I'm finding myself having to really work to entertain him. Thankfully he seems to enjoy wrestling a toy worm while doing tummy time so I resort to that when I need half an hour !!0

:hello:
We're here. Can't you see us, lurking in the corner.
Been reading along, love that Katie is in her new house... hooray! How about the other movers, kicking out time anytime soon?!?! :www:
Not much time to come on in the day, too busy chasing round T and when he does nap it's only really 30 mins or so morning and afternoon, so simply catch up time and back to it. No sitting down with some M&Ms any more. Also we've had lots of visitors over the past couple of weeks, so we've had a battle of sleep vs fun. Sadly more T fun, than Mummy fun, but we've got to a bit of a happy medium now. I've certainly not had as many low days recently so that's a plus.
T had his 8 months review on Monday (he's 10 months in a weeks time, but they didn't seem fussed). Doing well for everything. Whoop.
Is going to be earlier than 9pm a sign of weakness? :undecided
