Hi all, my first post on this thread! Baby is two and a half weeks old, feeding well, starting to sleep ok and making us very happy (and tired!)

A question for mums who are breastfeeding... Have been using disposable breast pads and getting on ok with them during the day but starting to find them scratchy/ uncomfortable at night. Can anyone recommend washable breast pads that they have found good?

Hi Fran! Congratulations on baby. I like the tommee tippee ones at night. X

Edit: must read post properly. Didn't realise you wanted reusable ones oops.

Thanks for all of the suggestions ladies. I would be obviously happy to spend more than £35 on the buggy, probably a maximum of £70. The M&P luna is very similar to our current pram in style. I would be happy to spend a bit more on one as a back up/Nanny pram when we get back from our hols.

Currently looking at the babyway £50:

or Mamas and Papas Trek £60:

    Anyone have either of those?

We bought this one last year and use it quite regularly, has been abroad once for a week and lives in the boot of our car. Ours was in black which has went up in price

  • I was going to ask about buggies too as we're outgrowing the travel system now. Has anyone had an obaby atlas? They look nice and sturdy plus the bundles are less than buying all the bits separately
  • Hi ladies! Typing this sat in our new house! Got moved in on Friday, and the only thing went badly wrong was me dropping our PC down an entire flight of stairs! Luckily it seems ok -the insides anyway, the case was pretty much destroyed. Not to mention if G wasn't such a monkey he would have been stood right where it landed like I'd told him. Luckily he's a disobedient wretch and had run off down the corridor. Doesn't even bear thinking about. It made a hell of a crash.

Anyway, hope all is well, just a flying post as G is out with mil (making use of being close to family now!) so I've got to get my bum in gear and get some unpacking done. :)

Strollers - we have this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006IP1Q1S/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=baby and I love it, love all the Cosatto stuff for its colours. I got it new for £85 and it comes with foot muff and raincover.

Katie that sort of thing is scary isn't it  I remember when I was about 11 my mum deciding to try and move a wardrobe downstairs on her own, she slipped and fell and landed at the bottom of the stairs under the wardrobe

squeak (for those not knowing, she is 3) wanted to go to bed at about 10.30, she is still asleep! I'm beginning to think she might be poorly :(

little miss is still up and about but I smell a smell.... I just asked if she's poo'd but she grinned at me and said 'no!' How early is normal for fibbing to start? She definitely whiffs!!

    Ah well.

Delain, my LO says 'no' if she's busy playing and doesn't want me to ruin the fun by taking her upstairs for a nappy change and 'yes' if she's not doing anything particularly interesting and quite fancies running around 'up!' for a bit... Or, TMI coming up, if the poo she's just done is a bit hard and presumably uncomfortable in her nappy. If it's nice and soft, it's usually NO!

    Evening ladies :)

Yay for your house move being over Katie

Hope that yours is progressing smoothly Nutella

Hope everyone else is ok, and welcome to the new members !

Just a quick post, we're ok. I'm loving having a proper hot Feb again... Makes such a change to the last 9 years of grey Feb's ;) A is going to be walking soon :( she's been walking all over with 2 hands, and now is happy with one hand... My baby is growing up far too quickly, she's still 9 months old (well, 10 on Wed ;) )

    Hope everyone is well
