Its a grey colour! He loves mashed banana though so will get a bag of oats. We buy frozen blueberries and blitz them, boiled first, and I put them in the other day, he loves them.
Taking ds to dr this morning, I think he has eczema or something starting . Has a horrible dry rash on his tum and its spreading. The dr gave him oilatum but it has made it worse
Same thing happened here when I tried giving LO baby porridge - she refused it. Having tried it myself, I can see why - it's really not nice
Hope the dr can sort out your LO's rash x0 -
congratulations MrsBunny. It's quite common for OHs to complain about lack of sleep and act like they are really suffering I think. Despite the fact that you are recovering from birth and having less sleep! Make sure you complain lots about pain and lack of sleep otherwise OHs tend to take you for granted. I think I made a mistake by trying to make life as easy for OH as possible which made him think that things were easy for me - aaarggh!
big hugs Gilly
Think we are coming out of the 4 month regression fingers crossed - we've had one block of 5 hours each night for the past 3 nights and then LO settles easily in bed with me for frequent feeds. I'm a little worried at LO moving in bed as he moves lots in a circle (pivoting on his head) in his cot and playmat. He does tend to stay still in our bed tho. I've heard there's more sleep regressions to come but I'm hoping that's not true!0 -
Btw, Minimuffin - if you have oats, frozen berries (they do need to be frozen or it gets too mushy) and a banana-loving LO, then you need to try these. I usually make them with raspberries, but have made them with other berries as well as apricot, and my LO loves them0

Just lurking and saw this. Our nct teacher said yes thats what it means - most people think it means at night but it means all the time. Hence why moses baskets are handy as they can be taken downstairs. Or a carrycot from a travel system. I didnt realise this until she said.
Yeah we have two Moses baskets- one in our room and one downstairs so there's only baby to move and he comes up to bed with me when I go which is quite early cos I like my sleep and you never know how much sleep he's guna let me have lol
All this talk of cute things your little ones are doing makes me want to wish the weeks away but now my little man is snuffling down my ear happily after his feed I'm back to wanting him to stay so small forever xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Do not wish the time away TeamLowe. Look at that this way, he stays where he's put, doesn't knee or elbow you when you try for cuddles, doesn't answer back and you don't have to share your foodThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

We have a new word today (almost)
Whenever LO's doing something a bit dangerous, like standing on the toy box or jumping on the sofa, she'll stop for a second, look at me with a big grin and say 'fareful!'
And then continue what she was doing, obviously.

Hello! :j Of course we remember you - how are you and Reuben and your new house? x0 -
nutella that's adorable!!! Thanks for all replies about sleepsuit. Didn't do it in end, decided a blanket would be fine if he felt cool although the fleece sleepsuits are made for bed I'm not really sure whether that's on their own, on top of clothes etc. 3 wakings last night, always for a feed...and his tummy is always grumbling. It feels like these meltdowns he's having at night are because he's shattered but hungry and doesn't know which one to go with! Falls asleep at bottle but then suddenly snaps awake and goes mad then seems to get a second wind and babble away which is actually worse than crying because then he just wants to play! He's always woke for a feed but only once and he's stopped rejecting milk in day so it's not cos he hasn't eaten all day. Babies eh? Confusing little creatures!0

Gilly, I was thinking of you this morning - is it possible that the night time wake-ups are caused by overtiredness? At my LO's nursery, the two-year-olds still have a nap during the day - is this an option or does he refuse? Just a thought - whenever my LO's overtired, we get a lot of night time faffing and wake-ups; like she wants to play when we know that what she really needs to do is sleep...
Hope your nights get better x
