Hello love! We are good thanks, saying new words everyday now and is having settling in for the 2-3room at nursery! How is your little lady? And how is the house move coming on? X

OMG - new room already! Hope his settling in is going well. We're lucky in that my LO's room and the 2-3 one have breakfast together in the 2-3 room, so she's already used to being there and know the staff (which is why they do it), so when she does move in a few months it shouldn't be too much of a shock :o

We're good thanks - new words coming thick and fast here too, along with some pretty challenging tantrums. But I'm really enjoying being able to communicate more with her.

The house move is ticking along - although we've got our buyers' surveyor coming round tomorrow morning, and have spent the day ripping out the toilet, including flooring, thanks to a nasty leak. Not good timing - OH is still hard at work as we speak! :( Hope you're happily settled in your new house x

I know, new room seems so grown up! He is moving up with two of his little friends which is nice.

We are having tantrums too, challenging for me as I struggle not to comfort him if he cries but if he had thrown something etc then he has to learn its wrong...tough times!

Hope your survey goes smoothly, bless your OH still working away! Why do these things happen at the worst time?!

Our house is lovely thanks, although we are having to bite the bullet and get a new boiler fitted. The current one is so inefficent and is the origional one so 45+yrs old but new one means shelling out 3K eeek!!! Think its got to be done though.

    Anyone seen Sammie lately?

  • I feel your pain nutella, our house was in such a state, we had several leaks too and the silly guy that we bought the house from had covered the kitchen ceiling with pine, didnt even try to fix it, when we took it down the ceiling crumbled, and it was one disaster after the other after that! Tis nice to put your own stamp on it though :) hope it all goes smoothly x

oh happy birthday to your lo gilly!

Oh I am so tired! My boy has been cluster feeding every night for the last few days and so far has been latched on solidly from 10pm till now with no sign of sleep in our futures. Days of this is starting to wear thin.

Awww rummer that sounds so tough. Hope you've had a little sleep at least? Aren't these babies difficult. Mine was yo at 3am 'chatting' and staring at everything. I'm finding even that difficult. That was only time he woke but took over an hour to settle. So tired from his previous shenanigans this week that I just felt like crying even though last week I'd have killed for a one night waking!

Rummer, have you tried feeding in a side lying position? That was my saviour in the early months as I could feed A and safely doze off without fear of dropping her.

Sorry you also had a bad night Bangton

A had a bad night last night too - no idea what was up. She woke numerous times absolutely screaming her little heart out. She had a very slight temp each time (37.7) but I don't know if that is why she was screaming or because she was screaming? Might be teeth? She only has her bottom front two but when I try to pop my finger in her mouth to feel she's sticking her tongue out! Could be something else altogether? Yesterday she was a bit clingier than usual but I just put that down to her age (9months) and we'd had a "people" busy weekend.

Oh well, of for a quick weigh in and some final bits before home to pack and bake OH some biscuits.
Have a good day all :)
  • Must be something in the air as my LO also had a bad night: up at 12, 2, 5 and then awake for the day at 7.30. She also took over an hour to settle at 2, and DH slept in so was late for work which he *hates*. Decided to cancel a lunch date with a childless friend for the 2nd time this week and as LO finally naps I'm wondering whether to bother with swimming later on. Hugs to my fellow sleep deprived mummies!
  • Morning! Rummer, I know nothing about bf, but yikes to how long he was latched on, what happens if you set him down, does he wake?
Oscar my lo was the same at 24/25weeks, he woke at 2 and 5 am for a few weeks and I was exhausted, it was hard to settle him. Not out of the woods yet but a good night last night from 8.15 til 7.30am. He wakes up screaming the odd time but is half awake, ifkwim, not sure if he is dreaming?

We are off to playgroup now and he is napping from 9.30, hate waking him up!
