  • Evening all.

Got my pacapod today, totally love it. Can fit soooo much in, I gave it a test run to see just how much it could cope with based on how much I took with me last Thursday when out for the whole day and I got everything in PLUS my own stuff. Now that is a massive bonus as will love not having to take my own handbag as well, one less thing to carry around.

Big big thanks for the help, so glad I asked about changing bags now. Though I will admit I only got it because it was in the sale and thankfully my pram is black/grey so I didn't have to worry about this colour being the only one in the sale. My friend wants one now however this one that is in the sale doesn't go with her pram so she's hoping more come on sale.

Well LO is changing her sleeping habits. Not massively but just slightly, could hear her stirring and it was 2:30am so gave her back her dummy, then heard her again at 3:30am, gave her the dummy back, but when she stirred again at 4:30am I was like right ok time for a bottle. She was back asleep by 5:15am and was up for the day at 7:45am.

But I then made her really cross as had a dr appt at 9:45am and of course they were running late, didn't go in until 10:15am. So most of the time waiting was spent rocking LO in my arms as she was tired but too much was going on for her to sleep. But of course then once home at about 11am she was hungry, though as soon as she finished her bottle she went to sleep pretty quickly and slept for 2 hours.

Wish I could of got some sleep, I always doubt myself when she sleeps in the day thinking it will be a quick cat nap and it's pointless to lay down on the sofa but obviously today I could of, oh well.

Here is a recent pic of her, taken on the 20th Jan:

  • Morning ladies, welcome to new the ladies and congratulations on your lo!

We're off to the head clinic today so will let you know how lo gets on. So far (6 weeks in) only one little boy has said to his mummy in asda "what does that little boy have on his head" and surprisingly I wasn't at all bothered by it! I honestly thought more people would look and question why a baby was wearing a helmet!

I'm full of a cold, I feel absolutely rotten, and having to set off to work now, not cool! Will check back in later and let you know how much his head has improved, Fingers crossed it's another 6mm! :)

Good luck hun, hope it was a positive meeting x x

Saf, hope you get sorted with your job soon.

my lo slept for 2hrs in his buggy yest and today, he wont settle in his cot during the day but buggy is the next best thing. We are moving him into his room next weekend and my anxiety levels are peaking, I love having him beside me :(

Hello all, hugs to those who need them and welcome new mummies :) xx

I shall try catch up properly soon! I did see comments about naps, I can remember those moments with my baby boy when I couldn't put him down or the second I would he woke screaming. I dreaded the phone ringing/ doorbell etc. in the end I gradually started taking him up to his cot, he would grumble a little but I think he just needed to sleep in silence. My baby girl however is so different (at the moment!) she sleeps wherever/ no matter how much noise there is. I think it's from having a noisy 3 yr old and her having to just fit into our lives. She's such a chilled out baby I feel a bit like she doesn't get the attention she deserves as I'm constantly running around with my son/ housework/ OHs paperwork while OH works away.

My son was ill last week and with OH away it really was a week from hell. DD doesn't sleep particularly well when OH is away, and once she was asleep DS would be awake. Thankfully swaddling DD is really helping for now!

My LO just had a massive tantrum because number 8 wouldn't fit into the slot for number 6 on her jigsaw puzzle :o
