Forgot to say that OH and I went to see the mortgage advisor this morning - it was the first time we'd been out together just the two of us since LO was born! :rotfl:She'll be 2 in May! :eek:0

I am super sleepy
Been up all night with a fussy, cluster feeding baby and now he is finally asleep I am sitting waiting on a health visitor who is going to wake him by weighing him
I just really want to nap. As great a support as the midwives and health visitors are they really do arrive at the worst (and most random times) making it hard to get out and about or even to sleep. It will be nice to please myself when their visits stop
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Urgh what a day! Lo was up at 5.30 cos his nappy leaked wetting everything! He's cranky because of it but I've managed to get him to sleep on me finally!! Took oh to work this morn and an old man rolled back and hit my car on a hill. Got out and asked me over and over if I'd hit him so I said 'you rolled back!!' (I couldn't roll as there were cars behind me). Then he just jumped in his car and drove off. Got his reg and it was only a shunt (can't see any damage) but I had lo with me and I'm livid that someone would do that. Going to report it but I feel shaken even though it was literally nothing really I can't bear how idiotic people are on road when I'm an anxious mother carrying my baby on board!!0

Big hugs Rummer I feel your pain. I had a fussy baby from 5am this morning. We went through 4 nappies and 3 changes of clothes in 2hrs!!!
I've managed to upset OH by registering LO at the doctors with my surname. I really struggled with the decision for the last 10 months as OH doesn't want to get married and finally decided on her having mine abd changing it If we did get married. But now he's upset and trying to use different things to get me to change my mind. I just couldn't go through the birth and sleepless nights only to end up without the same name as her. Still not officially registered her either, going to do that when he's off and she's going into her 6th week.
We're meeting up with a few of the nct girls in a bit for coffee then might take her into daddy's work.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hi all, vic yep the days fly in here too, dh went to his mums for tea last night and I sat down for 15mins after 10 with a cuppa, that was the first from lo went to bed at 7.30 was ironing, mopping floors etc. I have no idea how I will fit a fulltime job into my life now. But job no1 comes first, being a mum
Bangton, what a day! And what a cheeky sod to drive off!my lo wakes up the odd time with a leaky nappy too, esp as he sleeps on his tum now.
kerri, big hugs, does he definitely not want to get married? You are just for her to your name.
If anyone is weaning soon, I joined several clubs. This morning from hipp organic I got a peach and rice pouch, a spoon, a packet of rice and vouchers. Thought that was quite good. Also joined cow and gate, ellas kitchen and got vouchers.Mum of 2 :j0 -

I won't pretend it's easy, but you adapt when you have to. On a positive note, on the days when LO is at the nursery, no mess or washing up is createdOn other days, I aim to clean one room each evening + do a load of laundry before I sit down for dinner, as otherwise I'd be too tired to move again! As your LO gets older, you'll be able to do more stuff around the house - my LO likes following me around when I do the hoovering, and 'helping' with the cleaning. Her favourite household chore is changing bedsheets - she loves jumping around on the duvet and pillows, and hiding inside the sheets. She also enjoys doing the laundry and pulling stuff out of the washing machine

Well I tried taking Thomas for a long walk in the pram, hoping that he would fall asleep and stay asleep when we hit home. Woke the minute I opened the door lol. Never mind.
I took him to be weighed today; 13lb at 8 weeks from birth weight of 9lb 5oz. Following 75th percentile lineDS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -

I'll second this (although I work from home anyway so don't get days without mess. Ever) G has a toy Henry hoover so when I'm hoovering with my Hetty he's following behind with Henry. And this morning I said "right, got to put some washing on" and he dashed into the bathroom and dragged out the laundry bag
He's already a pro at putting the stuff to wash into the basket for me. It does make chores more fun! Its soooo cute how much he loves to help with everything!

Vic3 - that's an amazing gain - congrats! By way of comparison, my LO is 24 weeks and only 13lb 14. However she got a clean bill of health at the paediatrician so she's just a dinky one.
Katiechoc I am well jealous and hope my LO will help out as much (would have to take after her dad to be a neat freak!)
We also have news - LO has cut her first tooth! The edge has just poked through, and although she was a bit grumpy the past few days she didn't seem to be in lots of pain0 -
Oscar, my DH is a neat freak too.... luckily as I am a lazywife. It's the threat of him telling me off that means I keep things tidy! Hooray for the tooth
I ave to say I'm looking forward in part to T being at nursery some days, for the lack of mess and I'll have 30 mins in the morning after DH takes him to nursery and before I have to go to work. A shower in peace... aaaaaah
Oh and well done for the weight gain Vic3.x
