    Hallo ladies

We're well and enjoying the summer sun -yay!
My opinion of the trunki is what an awesome kid suitcase! Even though it was past her bedtime when we boarded the plane, she was really happy to ride her trunki all the way through the airport. Whilst on our cruise, if getting stroppy, a little ride up/ down the corridor and she was quickly all smiles again. Also, when we were waiting to board and disembark the ship the trunki was fab at entertaining her quietly in a relatively small and crowded area.
Finally it was great as storage for the toys we took and when we did tidy up time each evening she knew to put them away.

Both of our flights out, A slept almost all the way and was really quite good. On the cruise she did very well too, we had two tantrums on our final day of cruising but I think this was tiredness as I had kept her up and taken her to the shows most evenings so she had had much less sleep than usual.
Back on land and she's back to her normal sleep patterns -yay!!

    Hope everyone is well x
  • Yay Saf, sounds lovely!
We've been enjoying some sun, but not as luxurious as yours, just some nice late Winter sunshine on the beach (East Coast).
T was a horror last week, not sleeping well, being grumpy and demanding. This week he's been lovely, enjoying the days, sleeping at nights and making us smile everyday. It's like their trained to push you to the end of your tether and then become lovely little people and you completely fall in love with them again!
Hope you and your LO's are well,
    L.xxx

Hello ladies. Had a busy few weeks as my maternity ends today! Baby has been settling in with grandparents and nursery and I've used that time to get some of the housework/ admin jobs done that I've been putting off! Baby and I both have new passports, we've hired a cleaner for my return to work (feels extravagant but we've saved on nursery costs and it'll make our home life much happier!) and just been trying to enjoy the last of my leave. We're hoping to move house this summer too so have done some initial research, had flat valued and done a little decluttering!

I'm back to work mon-weds and off thurs-fri. Got to make it work well as the change of hours is on a three month trial. So lots of change for us at the moment but baby doing well :)

Fran-o good luck with work. It'll work fine I'm sure and nice to be at that next stage for you and LO.
Also getting a cleaner, I'm very jealous!!!

But you're Lazywife, you really should have a cleaner! :p:rotfl:

On the subject of usernames, I totally missed World Nutella Day a couple of weeks back - it's in the diary for 2016 :D

They had some lovely stuff in when I was in there this week (I don't often make it to Asda) - most of the spring stuff coming out seems really nice in general though, after last spring when it was pretty diabolical!

I need to get Bobbi's 2nd birthday present sorted out and my mind keeps drawing a blank - this is the problem with having two so close in age - everything toy wise we want... we really already have! It'll end up being more Happyland - even though I think we've reached saturation point in this house with the stuff... the pirate ship gets played with endlessly!
Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!
  • My friend gave me some nutella cheesecake on world nutella day, it was fantastic - almost caramel like.

LO loves walking round at the moment and currently has a fat top lip from falling whilst walking downhill. He recently got hand, foot & mouth but the doctor said it was an eczema outbreak! think he got it from nursery as a little girl had it there at the right time for him to get infected. I don't think he got it as bad as the little girl tho.

I want a cleaner! so jealous
