BeNice, have you got any museums nearby? As long as they're not super-quiet art galleries they're great for toddling about0

Congratulations and welcome Mrs TM and also fuzzipeg! Ooh... does make me broody seeing your beautiful newborn Mrs TM. I'm working on convincing OH to try for a sibling for A
Hope that little one cooperated for your photo session fuzzipeg!
We're home from our holidayand back to work too... but I am SO proud of A... she's just turned 22 months (yesterday) and I had been so worried about the changes/ flights but actually she was amazing! Despite the flight/cruise/ night at my cousin and then time at folks, she just adapted and went to bed each night without fuss and slept through as usual until the time she usually wakes in the morning (around 7ish). On the flights back, she looked out the window and chattered quietly on the short flight, and slept on the long flight. Home and again easily into bed and slept through as usual.
When I woke her and told her that mommy was going to work and daddy would be taking her to nursery, she went and tried to wake OH saying "Daddy, dress, socks, shoes, nursery!!!" and reeling off the names of the staff and other kids. They don't leave home for an hour and a half after I do!
I had a quick catch up with the nursery manager on Thursday when I collected her and she also commented on how smoothly A slipped back into nursery, especially as they moved her up into the 2 - 3 year group from her return.
Hope that everyone is ok. I am loving the age that A is at the moment... her speech is coming on so well - new words every day
Oh ja, AND it is getting lighter both in the mornings and in the evenings0 -
Ooh Nutella, I don't need any encouragement to shop for A! I'm thinking of getting her a kitchen for her birthday as she does love to "help" me with anything I do in the kitchen.0

Welcome back Saf - so glad you had a good time and that A has settled so well back at nursery! I'd love to get LO a play kitchen, but I'm not sure we've got room for it... They've got one at the nursery that she plays with a lot, and she loves helping me cook/bake real food, so I might just have to stick with that0

These gorgeous new babies are making me broody too. Although it might just be my first week back at work doing that too! We survived! It took meticulous planning to be in the right place/ right time and miraculously baby slept through a few times! We also had mega sick - six times in four days, always in his pyjamas and sleeping bag after milk, so had to keep up with the washing!
Welcome back saffa. Hope everyone is well xxfran-o0 -

Congrats Fuzzipeg and loving the pics too MrsTM
Aw Saf, well done on the trip, sound like A was very cooperative, I'd agree a lovely age they're at at the moment.
T has been really nice for the past few days. Now that he can talk a bit more I think he gets less frustrated and we get a lovely little boy :-)0
