Hello everyone! I've been awol for too long, apologies!
Congratulations sunshine. I absolutely know the feeling of guilt over having another child. The reality is that I have to spread my time a little more but I make sure I have time for cuddles etc with my eldest, and as she hasn't napped in the day for quite a while we have time every day when baby isn't around.
She is a bit of a daddy's girl and going through a phase of waking in the night, always shouting for daddy. I'm quite happy with that :rotfl:
My little girl turned 3 this month and my baby boy is 1 next month, plus I go back to work next week. Everyone is growing up :heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Sunshine, just thinking as well - it's harder in the early days with a newborn and a toddler. You find stuff to do with the eldest that you can do one handed while feeding the littlun.
Now though, with him active and into everything, I get to see them playing together and that is the best thing in the world
(She does tend to boss him about though!):heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Forgot to say - congrats to you Sunshine, lovely news! Our baby is nearly one but we're already talking about number two... It'll probably be just talk for a while yet, I need to go back to work for a bit and we'd like to move house within the next year (we're in a flat at the moment).
Anyone baby wearing with a big baby/ toddler? My little one is nearly 25lbs and too big for our current carrier now. I've been looking at mei tai style carriers for back carrying and just wondered if anyone had any experience or advice to share. I don't use the sling that often and probably won't - so I don't want to spend a lot. But it's useful for short trips and going places where the buggy is awkward.fran-o0 -
Hi Fran-o I've got a manduka which is good for my toddler. Do you have a sling library near you where you can try a few different ones out? I fund our local one a mine of information and even hired a caboose sling for our camping holiday last year.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

fran-o, I used an African baby carrier which can be used front or back. It is quite similar to the mei tei. I used it until A refused to go in it prefering to walk.
Just converted lbs and A is about the same weight as your LO and can still comfortably go in this carrier; she just prefers to walk everywhere.
I would second going to a sling meet if possible0 -
lol@Nutella - at least it's not your real name
exciting news, TU clothing (Sainsbury's) is now online! should be easier to shop the 25% off now, I have my eye on a gruffalo poncho too.
I third going to slinglibrary. I have a hop tye and the sling library lady managed to get her 4 year old into her hop tye! I'm still a bit rubbish with mine, I don't seem to be able to get LO tight enough. I think he's about 25lbs too x0 -

:rotfl:How do you know? I'm sure it'd be legal in this country!
By the way, I don't need any more encouragement to go shopping - I've just been on a spending spree for LO in Next, M&S, Mothercare and H&M! :T0
