You're welcome - always happy to help! :rotfl:
Early wake-ups here tooAnd added to that, it's now dark when we leave the nursery and LO doesn't like it - she just wants me to carry her, for which she's too heavy. Stupid clocks indeed!

Oh yes, been there with the carrying. I swear my arm will actually fall off soon, honestly.

I remember you ladies talking about your early wakings last year and feeling fairly smug that I had a lie in until 7...... 5:30 is our new wake up, I feel like a bus has hit me most mornings. So dreading my partner going back to work and having to look after lo on my own again, I'm having to have naps with him to feel human for the day.
I managed to stay away from sainsburys. HeheNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
Another early riser since the clocks went back and of course has to all change during my holidays (1/2 term of course) when it doesn't matter what time we get to nursery.
Previously LO was waking at 5:30am, daddy giving her milk before going off to work and she'd go back to sleep till about 7am. Sometimes I had to wake her at 7:30am to get ready for nursery as we leave at 7:50am.
All this week we've been up at 5:30am full of beans, ready to go. Me not so much, lol. At least I could casually get us both ready for the nursery drop off though, feel guilty but Mon - Wed she went to nursery, at £39 a day it's a lot to still pay and have her at home with me.
Saying that though I got stuck into soooo many jobs it was unreal what I just don't have the time to do when LO is at home with me. My inlaws still refuse to look after her for us so we don't have anyone that can babysit so nursery is my only source. Yesterday I had the thrill of using that time to myself to go to the dentist to have a crown fitted, lol.
We don't have a Sainsburys here, thank goodness, hahaha.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
My Halloween costume: frazzled mum. Greasy hair, tshirt stained with baby snot and cal pol, pyjama bottoms over hairy legs, smart phone on low battery, baby. Truly scary :eek:fran-o0

Hi ladies
Hope you've all had a good weekend? Pouring here so having a lazy day indoors... yesterday was lovely, but A had a 24hr bug so we stayed in.
Well, I think it must have been a bug - she was absolutely fine on Friday; we went to morning playgroup, had snack, went shopping, came home, she had a nap, had lunch, went to music group, walked down the high street to have coffee with the others, and whilst queuing for my drink, she threw up most of her lunch. I was mortified! But two of the other mums helped me clean up and I brought her home where she played and ran about as normal until coming for a cuddle and throwing up all over me - even in my bra Yuk!
We took a bath to get cleaned up and once dressed, I cuddled her until she threw up again before falling asleep. We had another two episodes before she had a good sleep of about 6hrs then three hours play time at 5am... followed by an hours sleep before waking to throw up on me a final time... slowly introducing food today. Sounds like a 24hr bug doesn't it?
Ugh... on the plus side, I managed to do Christmas shopping for my nieces and nephew so just a few adults to get for and I'm done
Hope that everyone else is well

oh dear Saffa sorry to hear about LO, hope it's just a 24 hour thing. LO threw up in OH's car yesterday - OH doesn't even go out with a spare nappy never mind spare clothes, apparently he had to borrow some kitchen roll and wipes!
I feel a bit guilty as I have bought Christmas clothes in the Sainsbury's 25% sale and this adorable Mamas & Papas cardi that I wanted since last Christmas!
My LO is a pre-walker so I think it's best to get him socks with grips on the sole as he walks in just his socks. Unfortunately a lot of the cute CHristmas socks don't have any grips, arrgh!0 -

Google 'Christmas slipper socks' - then you'll discover cute things like thisIf they weren't too small for my LO, I'd buy them
Slipper socks are great at that age by the way, Christmas-themed or not!

Hope everyone's well and have had a good Halloween weeekend. We made the most incredible pumpkin pancakes
We're Vegetarian, so we skipped the bacon, but they were very yummy anyway, and so filling I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow
Just booked tickets to see One Snowy Night - it's not until mid-December, but I'm already looking forward to it! We went to Shiny a couple of weeks ago, and LO absolutely loved it, so I'm going to aim for a theatre visit every couple of months.
Saf, sorry to hear about your LO - hope she's OK this evening.0
