Hi Mozzy!! How are you? We miss you! :)
  • Just been asked by oh "when do I get a lie in before work so I'm not tired at night"

My response "I put lo to bed every night, I sleep with him and wake up through the night with him, I'm the one woken as early as 5:30 and have him running around the bedroom and I'm the one who has him 6 days a week from the minute he wakes to the minute he sleeps"

Does he get it.... no because he works!! And I'm just the lazy sit around sahm aren't I?

Oh MrsH! I have to admit I cringe every time I say to hubby 'I'm tired' after a rough night and he replies with the ever so sympathetic 'me too!'.

Having a terrible time at the mo, came down achey and ill on Wednesday night, vomiting Thursday, tummy trouble from Friday morning still ongoing, so feeling rather weak and rubbish now... Very grateful to have family nearby who could help during the weekdays. Hubby is doing majority of childcare/ essential housework and is generally being a star. As I breastfeed baby I'm still up at night as baby won't settle with a bottle, or if he will it takes three times as long. Just praying I haven't passed it on to hubby or baby as it's dragged on long enough already! Yuck!

Awwww, what a great idea! 'Train firm launches lost teddy campaign' :D

Hope everyone's well. I'm knackered, but we've had a good day - went to soft play for the first time ever () with a friend and her little boy, and LO loved it :)

Lazywife, hope you're enjoying your new house! Thanks for asking about ours - we're still waiting for the top of the chain to get sorted. So fed up, but the house we're trying to buy is amazing and worth holding on to, I just hope it will actually happen one day...

Oh, and re. xmas trees - at her first xmas, LO was army crawling (7 months) and at her second, she was walking (19 months). We still had a big tree, but there were no breakable or precious or potentially dangerous decorations (or lights) on the bottom part of the tree, and the tree was attached to the wall.
  • Gosh it's quiet here lately!!

Hope you are all well. On the tree subject we bought a new one today  we moved into this house last December and had to make do with our old one, which was fine but the new house is a bit bigger and we wanted a bigger tree. Got a 7.5ft one on offer in b and q, if anyone's interested it was £35 instead of £70.

I think this year A will be loads better with it, he has seen them all over town and in the shops etc, and is fascinated with the decorations on them. Planning on putting it up together on Sunday and I am sooo excited!!!

In other news, we have the week off with him this week. It has been so nice having some time with him. Spent yesterday doing the gruffalo trail and then went for a nice lunch. Did the water park today and tomorrow we are off to the Lego discovery centre in Manchester. Might try and squeeze in a look at the grotto in the Trafford centre too :T

I have just been browsing the Web, pay day tomorrow :rotfl: and have been swooning over the new Kate/Jack Spade stuff in Gap kids, some lovely bits. Also really liking the mini river island bits too. Roll on tomorrow so I can buy some!

20% off all toys at ELC - ends Tuesday 2nd Dec.
  • Hello ladies how are we all?

I'm all done for christmas.... can you believe it haha its not even December and I'm all done. Far too impatient to wait until near the time haha.

Really hoping my lo is a lot more into Xmas this year, last year he was only 9 months and didn't really care about anything...not even the paper!!

Are you all looking forward to it? When are you putting up your trees?

It's been awfully quiet on here recently.

Any news to tell? What are you los up to? Talking, walking, crawling, answering back haha :)
