Evening ladies
Hope that we're all having a good week?
Busy here, but that's ok - quite like being busy, though will see how I feel come tomorrow evening as will be the first week I'm doing three long days since going back to work. Fortunately it isn't permanent - just a temporary increase in hours whilst we manage a staffing crisis.
I had such a good giggle yesterday evening, as I was making dinner my phone rang. From the area code I knew it was a nuisance call so I answered the call, and handed the phone straight to A mouthing to her to say "Hello". She did... then when the person on the other end spoke back, she got very excited and did lots of "Hiya" accompanied by lots of unintelligible babble with the odd word making sense. I could hear the person on the other side trying to make sense of it and A got more and more excited to be talking to someone on the phone :rotfl::rotfl:
I had to leave the room so they didn't hear me laughing in the background... I wish they would just remove my number from their calling lists but if they persist in calling
Have a good week ladies

I've sat the phone down in front of my toddler while she's having a meltdown before. I presume they hung up pretty quickly!
She loves talking on the phone, we have to ring 'mama' pretty much every day.
I did Sainsbury's yesterday, just with my baby thank god. It was chaos in there! Got a good few little bits for friends children so hopefully that's all done now. They really needed a one way system in the toy aisle:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Evening everyone.
Thank you for the replies re my LO's food issue. I've been a bit calmer this week with it and not let it get to me as much. Wednesday was a good day for her, she ate everything nursery offered her.
I've made more finger food for her, made a tuna pasta bake tonight which went down really well, she loved it. I must say it is lovely. Hubby won't eat it so I divided it between myself and LO and put it all into portions for both of us.
I had her appt re the urine infection today. I was a bit nervous as was on my own with her but it was okay. Just a background check really and a plan of action. She's got some medicine to take every night to prevent further infections and then we're to go for an ultrasound mid November probably, got to wait to get a letter with the appt on. Hopefully it will just be at our local hospital but could involve travelling else where.
Felt weird being back in a hospital as haven't been back in one for any reason since leaving hospital with LO after she was born.
Have a good weekend everyone.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -

Hi Ladies
Hope that you're all well?
So yesterday A woke at her usual 7 am, which because of the clock change was 6... not too bad. I still think changing time is one of the silliest things about the UK but hey ho... can't spend the next 5 months being an hour out.
We had the most wonderful weekend with my friend and her family visiting; A loved having a friend (my friend's 4 year old daughter) to sleep over... and shared her first ever bath with a friend lol the pair of them were so cute!
Hope that all the little ones have adjusted smoothly to the change over and all the mums are well.

Sainsbury's 25% off clothing is back - ends Monday0

Thanks Nutella, £23 later!
Hope everyone is well? Thread has gone ever so quiet. No news here really, stupid clocks meant a 530 wake up Sunday morning and a 445 wake up Monday and Tuesday morning. Today was 645 so much much better. I can't handle ridiculously early starts at the moment!
Starting to get his Xmas bits sorted now, getting him a wooden train set and some accessories with a few other bits. The gruffalo is a favourite here so lots of family have got bits and pieces with that on. I am super excited about Xmas this ear, he really seems to understand it more and often mentions Santa making all the toys.
Have a week off with him end of November too, we were going to go away but are just going to have days out now instead. A is desperate to go to the seaside so weather permitting we will try! Really looking forward to it haven't had a break from work for what seems like months and months.
