No problem - it's this one. I'm trying to eat less gluten, but I'm sure you could use normal flour if you wanted to - and I used normal cocoa powder as well
How are you - got anything nice planned this weekend? x0 -

Afternoon all.
Well considering hubby is at work it hasn't worked out too bad. He came along yesterday to watch LO swim and was blown away, what he thought we did at swimming I have no idea but he instantly changed his mind to booking the next block. Previously he had said since she's done 2 blocks of it that it should be enough and we could just take her but now he's keen for her to continue.
We then went out for lunch and lo sat in a high chair attached to the table with us happily eating a cheese sandwich. She was smiles all round that we were eating at the same time as her. I then went to meet my friend for our usual coffee/cake once she's finished work and hubby had lo for me so that was a nice 2 hour break.
LO and I have been to her nursery summer fete this morning, though the weather let it down and a lot of people stayed away. It hasn't rained but you just know if the sun was out more people would of gone. They had a bouncy castle, peppa pig, raffle, cheap toys and some cakes. I was the only one with a baby, everyone else had children that were walking so we didn't stay as long as I had planned. Bought her a hungry caterpillar toy for 50p, she was fascinated by it.
Then went into town and she held onto the caterpillar the whole time, lol. Got myself a new handbag, hubby kept telling me to get myself something, so for the expensive price of £7.99 I did off the market :rotfl:Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
afternoon
LO has just been to a first birthday party and is now napping in his cotI would love to have another baby in around 2 years time so LO's free nursery hours would kick in then. I love the sibling interactions, it's so cute and I think it's one of the best gifts I could give my LO. On the downside I don't know if or how we could afford it and we have no grandparents living near by so it'll be very hard!
CD hope you enjoy the new handbag. I think I'm going to treat myself to some running shoes and a new sports bra - I'm so rock n roll! BTW my OH is currently driving me crazy at the moment, it's just a phase menfolk go through I think.
I'd love to try the brownies and other recipes from delicouslyella when LO is over one. A lot of the recipes include nuts so I worry about the possiblity of an allergy. LO had cake and crisps today at the party - I'm deciding to relax a bit more when it comes to 'junk' food and trying not to be too much of an uptight mum!
MrsH naps with LO are fab and sometimes the only thing that got me through sleep deprivation. Glad you're getting to groups and enjoying them!0 -
Well done on relaxing the food types a little BeNice. It's so tempting to only let them eat a perfectly healthy diet, but actually a little bit of nice means that they have it (albeit in restricted amounts) and won't crave it later on. I think the big prob with nuts is the choking, so if their chopped up, not too big an allergy issue now (if it's not in the family). T has had peanut butter early on (and I had it when I was pregnant) and NHS guidelines changed.
Well done on MrsH on trying a different group, you'll probably find a couple of mums with LO's who you really click with. T and I had a sneaky nap this morning as he was up at 5am, so we both needed a bit of a catch up... 6am I can cope with, 5am, just seems so unreasonably early!
CD T rarely eats on his own now. If he's on an early tea if DH is home later, I'll eat with him and we'll lunch and breakfast together. I think he just feels happier eating with someone else (less like he's being stared at) and seems to have given him fairly good eating habits.... apart from smearing sandwich into his hair this lunch!
Finally getting over my flu/sinusitis/cough. Taken over a week and I've been pretty miserable and grumpy, but hopefully getting a bit of energy back. Off to a friends LO's Christening tomorrow, should be a lovely day.

I've always worked on everything in moderation as well, but obviously it's one of those things as a parent you have to work out for your child. The one thing I won't let her have is fizzy drinks but thankfully she doesn't like the feeling (had fizzy water).
I think my baby is in some kind of sleep regression because he's waking up almost more now than he was as a newborn. Yesterday I tried to go to bed stupid early (like before 7) because of being so tired. He woke up, she was refusing to sleep, I eventually got some sleep at gone 11 and he was up again before 12... then before 3... now been awake since 6 and is bouncing in the jumperoo squealing happily. Meanwhile I'm knocking back some coffee and preparing for a long day!!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Sunshine, yay for brownies
Did you use medjool dates? Apparently that's quite important as they're very sticky. I added a bit of water though, as my blender was struggling a bit! Discovered today that the brownies are extra yummy with whipped cream and strawberries
