Hello Kat,
I've been lurking and keeping up to date with your plans (all of which I definitely could be bothered to read) and would really appreciate being able to continue with the updates via your blog.
You've done such a great job in staying focused and getting your plans together. Even better that you beat your financial target too! I hope when you sit down and take a breather you feel really proud of your achievements.0 -
MuffinTops thank you for the post. I really appreciate it. I am sat here being fed by Mummy in front of my little fire ( yes I have been here all morning ) realising that it's been nearly an exact two years since the whole debt busting journey started. Time flies when you work every hour God sends... but my goodness what a journey!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Hi Kat
It sounds like you are having a lovely time at home with Mumsy and Daddy, getting all your final plans in place for your big adventure. You said it is almost 2 years since you started your debt-busting journey and I was one of the many who were fortunate enough to find you and travel with you on that journey. I didn't take part in many challenges but always followed and took on board your ideas for getting rid of that debt. Spend-free days are now in my blood and I don't even have to think about it!
On Christmas Eve 2014 I will have been debt-free for 12 whole months, for the first time in my adult life. It's all thanks to you and your lovely chickadees who showed that it could be done. I will raise a glass to you dear NSK on that day, wish you well wherever in the world you are, and thank you for my new, debt-free, life.
I hope the rest of your plans go well and you have the time of your life on your travels. I would love to read all about them so will have to find your blog! Take care my dear and know that you are wished all good things in your life. XMFIT -T5 #420 -
I would like to be included in your blog postings. I have been lurking all the way from the beginning and have used some of your rules and ideas to get my debt on a downward slope. Trying hard to watch the pennies look after the pounds, but will get there. I am truly amazed at what you have accomplished over the last two years and I wish you bon voyage and hope that every moment is special and you return home with lots of outstanding memories.NSD 1/3,

Hey Kat,
Another lurker herepoking my head up to say hello :hello: and to wave you off on your adventures! I don't post much on MSE, but I read a LOT, and your diary has been on my "must read" list for a long time. I love the way you write, and the focus and determination you have shown to achieve your goal is just... well, what can I say, you are seriously awesome!
I am not a traveller by any means (too much of a homebody for that...) but still I feel a little envious of the adventures you have ahead, I'm excited for you! I would love to have the link to your blog to follow your travels, if you'll have me?
Wishing you happy trails, hope you get to see everything you want to and more besides! :j xMFiT-T5 #52 - aiming to clear mortgage completelyJanuary 2019: £19620 ~ November 2021: £0.00!0 -
Hello everybody,
Another week ends and I am in front of the fire again. Thank you all for your lovely messages which made my little heart glow. I am so happy for you Stoplurking that you will be a year debt free at Christmas - it's a great feeling don't you think?
Lubava I won't let you down with posts don't worry - I have worked on a few this week. I can't get the internet at home on my Macbook as being in the sticks means using an ethernet cable and a £30 cable is required which I refuse to buy - this means I have to traipse to the library every time I want to use my Mac cause my little netbook it super slow...:o
Dottydaisy - all the way from the beginning?? That's a long old journey you poor thing - haha! Tell me how much you have left to get rid of - I want to cheer you on?!?
Violetblue - thank you so much for the compliments - it's super nice of you to be so kind in telling me what you think of my writing I really appreciate it. I have sent you a PM with my blog name - pictures and contents to follow! (I gotta stop staying that and get it done I know...:p)“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Now... this cable Kat. Does it need to be long? Ethernet cables, also known as Cat 5e cables, are cheap as chips online... And if you only need a little un I can post you one for free! x

Hi Kat,
Not long to go now. I bet you're looking forward to it.
Please can you send me details of your blog as I certainly enjoy reading your posts and would love to follow your adventures.
Maybe there is a new career for you, when you eventually return, using your writing skills.
Enjoy your time at home with your family and Dorothy (if I have remembered motives name correctly)
