Buffy, I've just rewatched the whole of, er, Buffy :) and there are so many quotes that hit home. This is a particular favourite at the moment:

    Life's not a song.
Life isn't bliss, life is just this, it's living.
    You'll get along,
The pain that you feel, you only can heal by living.

They're not the most beautifully-written lyrics in the world, but I've been hearing it my head a lot lately. :)

Not the most beautifully written lyrics......Oh how could you !;)

yes. the pain that you feel you can heal by living......Oh how I LOVE Spike. Might have to break out the Buffy DVDs

I keep hearing 'Make it count' the quote from Stephen Sutton.
Seem to be failing on that one at the mo though.

I am finding it hard today. Something on the news upset me. Then tonight I had some bad news about a friend.

Why do we fight so hard for security when it clearly doesn't exist. I mean so many horrible things happen. And maybe good things happen too but invariably they seem to end up causing pain.

Really don't mean to be negative. just lonely and a bit hurt. worried for my friend. Tired. have to build a future. Don't know what I want.

I will snap out of it.

    Oh Debt stands at 3950.

    I am a control freak.

I decided I can't be friends with the ex. The thing is, if I am honest I love him. There is simply no point in kidding myself that I can be friends with him. I was moving on and he turns up and implodes into my life and sends me a bit nuts frankly. I can't handle it, I have many, many lovely friends and I do have a future.

I can still have a future with someone else. I just can't do it with him hanging around reminding me of what could have been.

So I wrote him a letter - a message explaining this and blocked him on fb. It feels cleaner this way. I feel relief, I am not waiting.

  • Since doing the deed this morning I feel a thousand times better! tired now, with relief.

The dogs, it turns out also like eating gravel. And the bin liners I so carefully laid down the other day. Garden is a bit of a mess! went and sorted it as much as I could.

I need to do some school work and then get ready for tonight - out with Mother!

    I think I need a nap ;)
