Buffy I can highly recommend Motion Traxx podcasts for running/other exercise motivation. They do some fab free interval training stuff. Made my dog do a run/walk one with me this morning! Don't diet you just need to change the way you eat (easier said than done!!!) where is willpower when you need it?
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

For some reason I am missing the ex loads tonight. so odd. Last night - stuck with the family I didn't hardly think about him. For God's sake I have barely thought about him in the last six months.

Have to keep saying that, have added run and savings. I should put debt too but it seems negative!

Am sort of stunned by the election results but sort of not. Something had to change in this country people are so unhappy. The "normal politicians" are so practised at lying etc maybe we have all got sick of them Although it does worry me that despite the national press generally slating UKIP they have got the biggest share of the vote. They must have a very effective local canvassing system.

In other news I went out into the garden this morning and cleared the flower bed I am replanting. moved some stones and slabs and pots. bit knackered now!

I can't do anything now, sodding rain! Am having breakfast. Had Avocado. love it.

I was pondering this debt thing today. Yes, it is not a huge amount of money. Not really and it is at 0%.

But it is costing a lot in terms of time and it does bug me, the everything has to be done (perfect?) part of my brain kicks in every so often and so I do want it gone. However my shopping sprees would say otherwise.

So far I have spent about 30 quid on the garden - fencing, plants, pots. All pound shop or Sainsbury's sale. I was going to buy some turf today, am covering a flower bed with grass so I can permanently set up the gp run in a place with shade and grass. And have less weeding!

However I found lawn seed in the shed so am going to use that instead. I am not buying any more plants. I will have to buy some compost for my veg garden.....big De JaVu typing that. That will come from Morrisions - possibly on my saver stamps since I barely go in there now. I am moving my old plants round, already made a container pot fully with "old" plants. So my point - finally! is I must remember the cheapest way to do stuff. I have LOADS of things to re use, sell and repurpose. I must do this.

I am sadly so excited by my garden!

You seem to be getting lots done at the moment. :T

I love gardening. It makes me feel less stressed and like I've achieved something.

I also like feeling that although I'm not 'in control' of the garden, because the weeds keep on coming and there's always so much to do, I can work with it to get the best out of it rather than trying to force it to be something different. That's good for my mental state I think.

    :) Did more gardening.

am knackered but you are right Snaggles, it does feel like I have achieved something.
Have moved all my old plants over and planted them and some of the new ones :) Also put up trellis and moved Honeysuckle. Oh and I planted my ornamental grasses (! very Essex swinger if you ask me! but are in the back garden so should be safe!)

Next thing is to plan the rose in a pot and sort out the "lawn" and bird tables/feeders. Tomorrow.

    Need a nap now!
