Half term.
have run out of money. Also the tax changes mean I lose money! only 13 quid but it stuffs my finely tuned budget a bit.
I spent loads - been miserable you see! 20 quid on music, 9.45 on a book, 50 quid on shopping - some bargains but then I went to M and S 0 bargains!
need to pay my tescos card and my rbs card. also have to pay my sis for presents, and my mum for presents. still just my friends' birthdays now till November.
I have been paid which is great. too tired now tho.
got to bake a cake.
hope all is well.

I can relate to this Buffy. I have done the same this week. Almost £200 on stuff that I didn't really put much thought into.
Clothes and perfume, I actually did NEED them, but...grr, blah, could have spent less!
Perfume, was lovely to treat myself and smells nice, but could have bought a £20 one instead of nearly £50.
A few books (for the kids), some coffees from Starbucks, ice-skating...oh god, need I continue!?
Anyway, no point in beating yourself up about it, its done now.0 -

Amazon is my big downfall. click click click money gone! I bought music to cheer me up.
I paid my Tesco's card off. Need to wait for the bill for the other card. I have 42 pounds worth of clothes in a basket.
I am debating what to do about my 100 days debt challenge. It finishes on the 21 June.
I *could* pay off the amount to reach my target with my savings and a regular payment. well sort of. having just added up stuff......might not mange it! would be super skint!
so having done that, I think I will aim to get my cc down by to 3180 by the end of June.
It makes no difference to pay it off now or then, in fact I might lose some interest. Plus it is a risk to use the Savings. They are my life line post work. Just a shame I fail the challenge!
So plan moneywise.
1. no credit card spending.
2. cash spending only.
3. pay off any spare money to the CC.
Maybe aim to have the card start with a 2 in July.
I also must make more of today. Yesterday I baked, and today so far I groomed the dogs! Really want to garden.

What's happening to us all - I've been spending too much as well! 20% off in M&S = linen trousers and a top, 25% off Sainsburys TU = 2 tops and a maxi dress, half price maxi dresses in Debenhams = another maxi dress (and a pair of (ssh - full price!!!) sandals from Shuh after a glass of wine.
Anyway Buffy to change the subject - what's happening with the new online bloke - any progress?
Enjoy your week off.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I have decided to join a gym..hoping to look hot by summer time, and hopefully find a rather hot looking man too
I have been single for quite a while now and understand your loneliness very well Buffy. It can be soul destroying if you let it. I am really trying to get out more, but as a single parent its hard.0 -

It is tough actually. I know a man won't make me happy but it would lighten the sodding mood a bit. I want to share my life with someone special to me. Have been attempting friendship with the ex, not sure it is a good move but he said a few things that made me think yes I remember that I remember being happy then (quickly followed by sod off you pain in the !!!! little !!!!!! - its a process)
Mum had a bit of a day today and I just thought hmmm. This is it. I don't mean it but it was a glimpse of my future. She was sort of unkind today. still so was I - that is one thing. I do now answer back. Push back when she is like this - which to be fair isn't often. She is tired, once again my sister is better than me. These days I just accept that side of things... the snotty remarks, the change of topic when she is on the phone and the classic mum remarks/comparisons that really sting. Am very good at ignoring them. It wasn't even that bad today. Bugs me that I want her approval.Sun_Addict wrote: »What's happening to us all - I've been spending too much as well! 20% off in M&S = linen trousers and a top, 25% off Sainsburys TU = 2 tops and a maxi dress, half price maxi dresses in Debenhams = another maxi dress (and a pair of (ssh - full price!!!) sandals from Shuh after a glass of wine.
