I have only skim read some of your more recent post, but I swear we are actually the same person!
I am training for my first marathon, LOVE Buffy, am tempted by the Frozen DVD, am also a teacher (and have done no work this holiday save for a short revision session for Yr 11) AND am constantly wandering off around the world on my own.
So, thought I'd give you a gentle push in the right direction! I've done loads of travelling over the past ten years, much of it by myself. It is amazing fun - go where you want, when you want, no compromising! If you want to make friends stay in hostels and people are generally really friendly. No one has EVER made a negative comment about me being by myself. As for Paris, I found it really easy to get around. I don't know the language save for a few token phrases and didn't have any problems. This was a few years ago now, but I doubt it's much different.
Go for it!

I heard the song from Frozen the other day, and the ending is something like 'The cold never bothered me anyway'...and I burst into tears. In public. THE SHAME!
A man asked if I was ok, and because I, you know, wasn't embarrassed enough already, the only thing that would come out of my mouth was 'Yep...PMT...'.
At which point he backed away slowly. :rotfl:I'm a Money and Debt Adviser for a homelessness and housing charity in Scotland. If you have any questions about debt management and debt relief under Scots Law, just ask.The pain you feel today is the strength you feel tomorrow.0 -

Anyhow, spent 23 in Sainsbury's.
