I have little right to be grumpy.
That said I still am!
however, I think I might have turned a corner with this pot saving lark.
I now have 1502 across my pots. about 900 is to replace my wages - as I don't get paid in August.
but the rest of it is for the car, pets and Christmas.
not too shabby.

This being grump lark is all subjective.
If you want a grump, you have one.

God no, never again.
EVER.
they were the only "pets" I have ever had that made me throw up.
Was SO glad to be rid of them.
Today was better, although I was ill when I got home. Still not feeling great. This coupled with the miseries suggests to me I may be due on. Sorry to over share but I have to make a note of it somewhere.
I forgot to get petrol. AGAIN.
tummy hurts too much to go get it now.
I did buy sweets at work for a £1. so tired. Hopefully the exhaustion is due to the impending aunt flo. I literally almost fell asleep this afternoon.

yes it is really. Might try and move surgeries.
odd evening. Caught up with an old friend who was nice. saw ex online - he has changed his pic to my favourite pic of him. He is blocked so he can't get in touch. It hasn't spooked me as much as it would have done last week.
I think right now I am in a state of flux but am coming out of it.
nearly the weekend right?
Love to all XXXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Thursday evening practically IS the weekend.
The last couple of weeks, you have been sounding like you're beginning to pull out of a sad period in your life. Maybe this little episode with the ex was what you needed to 'get closure' (not sure I like that phrase, but can't think of another way to put it). Seeing someone you loved and were close to in a new light is a huge shock, but it can also help you rip off any lingering rose-tinted glasses, chuck them on the floor and do Riverdance on them.I'm a Money and Debt Adviser for a homelessness and housing charity in Scotland. I think my friend Snaggles is very wise.

Am home from work. Watching the Memorial for D Day. Making me cry. The Nazis occupation of Europe was such an evil. And we are lucky that enough men were so brave and heroic to save us all.
I have to say I don't think much of men these days. I think this maybe why I don't have a boyfriend!! I wonder what they would do if they had to fight evil. I know plenty of strong resilient women and young girls who live and survive in spite of the horrible things men do. They aren't perfect but I know they are loyal and honest when they love people. I know it is a sexist attitude and I don't mean to offend but the weight of experience is difficult to overcome.
These men, these elderly frail men did an amazing thing 70 years ago. When they were young, watching their friends dying and fighting on, determined. It is simply incredible.
So yeah, no money spent. possible job interview next week.
Catch you all later XXXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
I do think that if it were called for, the men of today would be just as brave and courageous. Life has changed a lot in the last 70 years and men and women both play different roles than they did then.
What's the interview for? (Snail farmer would be good.......no????)"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
