  • I'm another shoe fan but ashamed to say that I have most of them tucked away in storage boxes and wear the same 2 pairs day in day out :o. I vow to wear more of them from now on in :D

I think my love of shoes grew as I got fatter. No matter if I couldn't find anything nice clothes wise to buy, there was always the fall back option of new sparkly shoes :p. Xx

  • Morning MSEers,

Well went to a wedding Friday, the evening do, had a FAB time with my friends. Really did. Good chat with my best friend. have missed her so much.

Mostly the week off has been wasted, feeling ill and Mum being ill at the start of the week. So this next week MUST see some progress.

Have already emptied my chest of drawers. I need to cull the wardrobe! I wanted a new wardrobe as in piece of furniture but I need a new laptop I think - much more than a wardrobe.

    so the plan today,

    1. go through the wardrobe and bin things some for charity but think of that thing about not giving something to charity that you wouldn't give to a friend! so much will be binned.

    2. put away the amazing amount of ironing my mother has done. I really wish she wouldn't! I didn't iron a damn thing whilst she was away. However it does mean my cheap clothes look pretty decent!

    3. walk dogs.

    4. go to the shed. haul crap out! some to charity, some to sell, so must take pictures.

My aim is to have seven bags of stuff for the charity shop and at least 2 bags of rubbish.

    5. Bonus item! to paint the hutch I bought the girls.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Most charity shops take the older less sellable clothes if you pop them in a separate bag and mark it as "rags", they sell them on to the rag man by weight....so more money for the charity :)

Also whilst I have you Pooky, I have a bedspread (!) that many moons ago I dyed dark blue.

It is Wool I think, I want to lighten it, so can I strip the dye out with bleach? (it was a dyson job)

I wouldn't use bleach on wool, I think they do a colour stripping dye thingy but again not sure about it with wool...maybe have a look at their website?
