  • Hmm. You know when you know you are skint somewhere in the back of your mind but you don't fully acknowledge it.

Well, I was there, but now have acknowledged it!

    Am debating what to do.

I have a bill of 571.40 from Tescos.

    213 in tax bill
    100 on the house
100 on the new hutch, which technically was going to come out of the pets account.

    30 on petrol
    30 in fish shop
    30 in garden centre
    35 in M and S
    and Mum's birthday.

all very rounded up figures but you get the idea.

This bill isn't due till the 10 of May but obviously is a significant chunk on April's wages. I could use the savings pots to clear it but this might leave me short for the summer.

God I feel so ill today. Not to do with the money just still with the earache.

will have to use some savings pots.

    will think more later. ugh.

  • Evening all.

Still feel rotten. moved the desk and a few bits into the shed but it wore me out. Am a bit worried to be honest since I am back at work on Tuesday, still got the earache and sore throat. Seems to have been here for an age. was meant to ring the doctors but went to the high street, sort out the bank (had locked my pin!) and the pet shop and to buy Easter eggs. When I came home I was shattered and fell asleep. When I woke up I did some shed sorting and put some stuff in the shed. but then fell asleep again! left the back door open, house was freezing when I woke up. Well one of the dogs woke me up!

Still got tomorrow I guess. Might be able to sleep in my own bed tonight.

    xx

Buffy just to clarify - I haven't decorated YET - I've stripped the living room and bought some paint and wallpaper. However the plan is all the glossing gets done tomorrow and the wallpaper needs to get done by close of play Sunday. Hope you feel better soon xxx

Get yourself off to the drs or walk in clinic (if you have one). And get a decent nights sleep.

On the strength of this I went up stairs and made my bed, amidst the mess and clutter but I will be warm and comfortable!

  • Hello diary readers,

    *coughs*

    *coughs some more*

    *feels sorry for herself*

(this goes on for a few hours)

I haven't been ill like this in AGES! yes, migraines, yes tiredness, feeling vile at the time of the month, but all those are solved by sleep and pain killers.

It has been a !!!!!! holiday, nothing is finished my room is full of boxes. I took the stuff to the charity shop but they weren't taking donations, so I had to carry them back to the car. Yesterday I painted the hutch and the small chest of drawers but both need a second coat. We have guests coming tomorrow. I have managed about one or two things a day really and am so tired! Stupid stupid virus.

Am debating what to do really. need to move bed and sort out painting the rest of the furniture (one small chest of drawers and a shelf unit) plus the shelves stuck to the wall. *ponders* really I could do that tonight.

Two good things - I cleaned out the 3 tanks last night, they look fab! and I won 20 on lottery :)

    shall finish my tea.

Ditto to REST. (And while you are resting your clever little brain might come up with a solution or two all by itself - just give it a chance by taking care of your immediate physical needs) Remember car petrol/ dog walk - value yourself at least as much as your car or your dog. HUGS

  • thanks,

I ended up sitting down here. SO worried about Mum, when I got back from the shops she was really tired and so I said why don't you have a nap? I went up stairs and had a nap cos I was shattered post shopping/charity shop waste of time.

Any I went to sleep, she didn't I came back feeling better she is still tired and grumpy. She gets so angry when she is tired (I do too) and quite snappy. she currently can't keep her eyes open and keeps pressing the wrong buttons on the remote which in turn is making her annoyed! This is all fine till and normal till I remember she has a heart condition and shouldn't get stressed.

I have a huge list tomorrow and so am miserable about going back to work on Tuesday. pooh.

    Must work on cv actually.

    might do that tonight
