What a busy day!! I had to focus on my job like all the time. ;)

I do hope they are not expecting that for long!! Too much like hard work. Just home and knackered. Scan tomorrow. Incredibly painful boobs today but no nausea. Fingers crossed we see a nice little heartbeat tomorrow.

Off to find myself some food... I may pass out otherwise!

Evening ladies, sorry to hear everyone seems to be feeling rough.

I'm nervously waiting for my visit to the EPU tomorrow morning. I was feeling fairly positive after my visit to the GP yesterday but the spotting started up again tonight and feel a bit crampy, although I can't say for sure it's not wind but it's making me worry either way. Trying to chill out but I have a feeling it will be a sleepless night!
  • Hope you manage to get a little sleep Laila P, and fingers crossed for an amazing scan result tomorrow :)

I'm wondering if the amount of pain I'm experiencing is due to my endo scars stretching. TeaCake, do you have endo? How are you getting on?

Just lurking and saw this. My friend had really bad endo pain for weeks when she was first pregnant which started again in the last trimester. She was always stopping and almost leaning over as she was in so much pain!

  • Hi Peonie, I have mild endo which hasn't really bothered me since coming off mirena 3 years ago- before that I had about 8 months of periods from hell. I've been having little cramping sensations that feel like the start of af but when I spoke to the mw about it (it was freaking me out and had me on full knicker twitching alert) she said it was totally normal to feel cramps and said it was more common that endo women or wonen who had ttc for a while felt them as they tended to be 'more in touch' with their cycles and sensations. She asked if I got ov pains, which I do, and said that because of that and the endo I was prob more aware of the cramps.

T2D hope you have a lovely scan and see a lovely strong heartbeat. :)
  • Good luck T2D and Laila on your scans tomorrow - fingers crossed for those heartbeats.

I don't have endo but have definitely felt a lot of cramping etc and a few days ago in particular it was quite painful especially at night. I think/hope it was just wind but it's really worrying.

    Conversation in t2d household tonight.

DH: Can you prepare me a bowl of ice-cream?
T2D: Sure. (Prepares some ice-cream with topping, hands to DH)
DH: What's this plain ice-cream? Didn't we get some hagen-Daaz on special on the weekend?
T2D: Ummm.... you do know I'm pregnant... you can't expect posh ice-cream to survive that long!

(note that he had made me a wonderful fancy dinner, so the ice-cream request was reasonable enough. )
  • Ooh I'm with you on the ice cream! My consumption has increased dramatically, definitely having some notions for things and that's one of them!

To be honest... I'm not sure I can completely blame the hormones. Ice-Cream is probably one of the main reasons for my current BMI!
