I don't know if you are still reading Fluffysox, but I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you are recovering and feeling better in body and mind.
Is anyone else in the first trimester? I'm 5 weeks gone, feels like a long wait til the 12 week scan. Rather weirdly I find myself wishing the summer away.0 -
Hi Cherry and anyone else who is around
I am 5+4 today and have terrible nausea and the tiredness has hit me like a steam train - both symptoms new from yesterday. I didn't feel like this at all during my last pregnancy so taking it as a good sign since that one didn't work out.
I've been referred for an early scan for reassurance with my history which is this weekend, at only 6 weeks. We wanted it to be 7-8 but didn't want to kick up a fuss since they don't have to do one. Unsure whether we will be reassured unless we hear a heartbeat though which is not as apparent the earlier it is I believe. I hope this doesn't end up being more stressful0 -
I just recently got a notification from this thread. It was so immensely helpful when I was in the early stages of pregnancy with my little girl. She's now 5 and a half and whilst I'm not planning to have anymore babies apart from her and her sister I just wanted to wish you all the best x0

Rachy, I'm still getting notifications from this thread, just wanted to wish you luck with the early scan, I'm so pleased for you that you got your bfp.
I'd be the same about the nausea and tiredness as I didn't have much either before.
Hope all goes well with your scan x0 -
Thanks Alizee and Munchkin
I was unsure whether to come here as it was awful when I had my MMC last time but I guess this is what the thread is for, hopefully I will be able to migrate to the other one this time.
How are things with you Munchkin? I've been away from the TTC thread a while now so not up to speed xx0 -
I'm sure you will move to the next and the next.
I'm ok, a week tomorrow would have been my due date so it's all a bit weird right now.
OH has been away for work for two months so nothing happening for us. But the wedding planning is in full force.
I think I'm going to kind of give up on TTC. Went to the doc who said I can have bloods on day 21 of my cycle but I couldn't get there last month and then this month I'm not even sure what's going on. AF turned up four days early but is ridiculously light so I don't even know what's going on.
But I'm trying on the wedding dress I have fallen in love with on Thursday and I'd be gutted if I couldn't wear it so maybe TTC can wait a few months.0 -
The milestones are awful. Mine was NYE so I just got drunk. Weirdly I fell pg on the anniversary of our MMC and that whole time I was miserable and sad so all the people who say stress is a key factor for not conceiving - erm...don't think so!
Just do tests at your own pace and if you can have a break then I think that's a good thing.
Great news about you getting married - I am too!! If you want to talk weddings, I am posting on the You and Your Wedding Forum. I don't talk TTC there, kept the two completely separate and I have a different name, will PM you if you join or already post over there0 -
That's great. Congrats xx
I don't really post anything, I'm just lurking and reading a lot right now. Yeah pm me your name x0 -
Hi Rachylou,
I'm with you on the nausea and tiredness, though uncertain whether this is preg or stress-related. At the weekend I had some light bleeding, and am still spotting today so I can't even say it's over. I had a scan on Monday, and they took some measurements and said to come back in 2 weeks time. The embryo wasn't visible, but perhaps because it was too early (gestational and yolk sac were there). By LMP, I was 6.0 at the time, but because I ovulated on day 17, it was more like 5.4. So we are just crossing our fingers and hoping for the best at the moment, but it's a very worrying time.
I hope you really are 6 weeks by the weekend, and especially hope you are able to see a little emby on your scan this weekend.
