Not much to report here.
No nausea over the past week, touch wood. Absolutely shattered though. Been really busy at work, what's new lol. But I am hitting a wall about 7pm.
Very conscious of my belly. Should not feel / look pregnant yet, but I do. My ever tactful mother says I must be eating too much / the wrong foods but actually I have been craving salad and fruit etc.
I know it sounds self-indulgent but I know the difference between weight gain and pregnant belly. Hoping people who don't know aren't noticing though. Also hoping I'm not further along than I think.
Been contemplating a bigger car, but decided I'm better making do my my Ford Focus. Either DS1 or the baby can sit in the front, as there will only be room for two carseats in the back, if DH is with us then DS1 will have to sit in the middle without a booster.
Hoping to save an average of £500 a month in the run up to maternity leave. Feeling torn as we really wanted to get the kitchen and dining room sorted this year. Part of my thinks just go for it, get a loan and save at least the equivalent of the payment each month so we can make ends meet on maternity. It will be much easier without a baby in the mix. But then the worrier in me says save first. Perhaps get plans done but delay the work2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Hi fluffy socks, I stopped by and saw it's very quiet here, hopefully some newbies will join you soon.
I'm thinking about a new car for OH too, one that will fit me and two car seats in the back. I always sit in the back with our daughter on long journeys to entertain her and supervise. It's an expense though isn't it?
Ideally I'd get our kitchen done too, but I'm hoping new tiles and worktop will give it a facelift we can live with, will get a kitchen fitter to have a look.
Don't worry about a big belly - I have a really. If bump already at 15 and a bit weeks. I think it's just your body going, ooh, pregnancy, I remember how to do this!
Did you come up with a good excuse for drinks with your friend?0 -
Hi Timeflies, thanks for dropping by x
I just told my friend in the end (and swore her to secrecy lol). Only because I know she would have kept trying to make similar plans. This way she understood I did want to meet up, just not late. So we went out for a meal and a lovely walk on Saturday evening. Weather was gorgeous. We walked along the beach and there was no wind. Usually it has a bit of a chill in the evening.
We are looking into planning re: the kitchen. Bit complicated with potentially a few beams required. We have decided to get plans now but we may not do the work straight away. Both for financial reasons and also to be certain we are happy with the design before we commit.
Feeling no nausea at all- makes it harder to believe! Just tiredness and a need to go to the loo in the middle off the night already. Plus my belly seems bigger by the day.
Had some spotting yesterday. But only a little. Was worried but read online and it seems doctors only worry if the bleeding continues and/or if its bright red. (Or if associated with cramps) Sounds like it is very common, but it is not something I experienced with my earlier pregnancies. Anyway did not ring out of hours or anything, as it seems there is little they would do anyway. Nothing since, so all is good.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Thanks twentysomething x I am not sure exactly how far along I am. Best guess is about 8 weeks.
Spotting is brown rather than red which reading other people's accounts is a good sign. And it has stopped again. But it is quite worrying so if it happens again I will have to ring docs or something.
Felt a bit woozy a couple of times today too.
I have a few things going on at work atm, including a lesson observation next week and a couple of trips I am involved with organising so I don't really want to miss work.
Nobody at work knows yet but I think I am going to have to tell my line manager and the Head tomorrow in case I have any further concerns.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Fluffy- I had spotting early in my pregnancy and had a scan in the early pregnancy unit. I rang them, and they said I had to go to A&E who then referred me and I had a scan the next working day. I think I also read on here that some EPUs have walk in appointments. I'd definitely ring your midwife and ask them.0

Thanks penguingirl. I rang community Midwives this morning and they arranged an appt at EPU for Monday. But they also said if the bleeding gets worse to go to A&E. At work shortly after I had some more spotting. But heavier this time and red. So went to A&E. Waited 4 hours to see a doc, who said all she can do is refer me to EPU for Monday. Total waste of time. She did say she thinks it's something harmless like implantation bleeding.
I was in work today. So I had to tell a couple of people so I could leave.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Thinking of you fluffysox- mine was also a Friday/Monday and it was the longest weekend ever. Do whatever you need to do, but I found it helpful to get out and be distracted but also rest. I found work colleagues really supportive in the same circumstances (I'd already told manager due to nausea and a couple of colleagues had guessed because of it)0

Having to wear sanitary towel now. Heavier than spotting. Not heavy bleeding but definitely heavier. And bright red. Worst when I sit on the loo, something about the position causes sharp pain down below. I feel like my insides are trying to get out. Feeling the pain front and back. Sometimes happens when I'm standing up too.
I am not convinced this is going to end well. What will be will be but we are supposed to be attending a get together with close friends tomorrow and I will not cope if I am in pain and don't have my home comforts2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013
